It has been 10 years since the shadow dragons have been defeated and life on earth has returned to normal. Nobody knows where Goku went after he defeated Omega Shenron but since there has been no new threat ever since he hasn’t been needed. As Shenron had predicted the Dragon balls have disappeared nobody knows where they went but everybody has put their trust on the words of Shenron and are trying to make sure no new threat emerges and if it will emerge to destroy it before it can destroy the earth. All Saiyans except Pan have highly improved in their combat abilities . Pan has stopped training and has a normal life these days. Gohan started training again after the battle with Omega Shenron he is highly improved. Goten and Trunks have been training together and have both achieved super Saiyan 2. Vegeta has, with the help of Bulma, found a way to grow a new tail and to become super Saiyan 4 at will. The location is hell Cell is fighting with Super Android 17.
“Surrender you know you can’t win I beat Gohan and Vegeta you are old and weak” super 17 says. “I am perfection you can’t beat me strength doesn’t matter in this battle” Cell says. They engage in close combat Cell hits super 17 a couple of times until super 17 starts to unleash his fury hitting Cell in the stomach then his head then his stomach again sending Cell flying. “See you can’t beat me I am the strongest android ever created” super 17 says. “You are an idiot” Cell says before launching a huge kamehameha. Super 17 absorbs the blast with ease but when the smoke clears Cell is gone. “getting desperate aren’t you where are you fool” super 17 yells. Suddenly out of nowhere Cells tail appears and he absorbs super 17. “I’m right here fool” Cells says. Super 17 is now completely absorbed and Cell starts to transform. White lights appear throughout hell announcing Cells transformation the lights disappear cells steps out of the smoke. He now looks bulkier then before but for the rest the changes in looks are minimal. “Now to get my revenge” Cell says. He uses instant transmission and disappears.
Meanwhile on earth Gohan, Vegeta, Goten, Bulma, Chi-Chi, Pam, Trunks and Videl are having a barbecue. “I see trunks and I aren’t the only ones that have been working out” Vegeta says. Gohan smiles and says “Well we can never know when the next threat appears”. “well we must always be ready for battle we are Saiyans after all” Vegeta says. “Wait I sense something” Gohan yells “I know that energy pattern it’s Cell”. Cell suddenly appears in front of them and says “Now are you ready to die”. Trunks charges at Cell and is hit by a full power death ray nearly killing Trunks. “as you can all see I have improved as well” Cell says “Now it’s your turn Goten”.
