[Hells Sniper]

The pelican carrying the Risk-Takers was traveling towards the Ulterior Motive, with Desmond at the helm. Desmond: Ulterior Motive, this is Desmond-Z055, requesting permission to dock immediately. High priority, Spender is going to want to be here for this one. Savannah and Jessica were both being treated by William, Emma, and Liam, who were managing to plug Jessica's wounds and work on removing Savannah's armor. Liam, on the other hand, had approached Jacob. He was sitting at the farthest seat in the pelican, his helmet, bent and busted, lying next to him. His head was leaning against the barrel of his sniper rifle. He was obviously thinking, going through the events that had just happened. Liam looked at Jacob. Liam: You alright there Captain? Jacob looked up at Liam. His face was worn out, dirt was covering it, and he had this look. Liam was unsure of it, but it concerned him. Jacob: I am just going through everything that had just happened. That's all. Liam: Understandable. Liam took a seat next to Jacob and removed his helmet. Jacob stood up and looked at him. He was, obviously, considerably taller, and looked like he had to be in his fifties. Then again, Jacob knew he would only be around 40. Jacob: Guess that's what augmentation does to ya... Liam looked at Jacob. Liam: You are joining a good cause, Jacob. Everything we do is for the betterment of humankind, all of this, is so humanity can see a better, a more prosperous future. Jacob nodded as he returned to looking at his rifle. Liam nodded. Liam: We'll be on ship soon. You'll be getting a debrief by our Director, and then we'll move on to our next op. Jacob nodded. He didn't want to talk right now. He was only after two things. What the Trust was doing on the planet, and how they had so much information on him. He was hoping he could keep the act up. Meanwhile: The Suicide Squad had secured the perimeter with many of the other marines and were continuing evacuating the other wounded marines. They had called in a medical evac and began moving the wounded on board. Meanwhile: The marines in the Archives room had since fully regained consciousness from the fight prior. They all regrouped with each other to find the rest of the room filled with marines and medics surrounding them. Medic: Holy shit, LT! They're alive! One of the marines turned around and his eyes widened. Everyone had thought the marines were killed in the fight. The LT immediately went on the comms. LT: Commander Vernette, sir. Uhm...Hero Squad is alive. And perfectly fine for that matter.
