Ok, as from my experiences Toshiba laptops have been solid laptops, and every geek I know that I've asked about laptops how good are they told me they are amazing, they've had good experiences with them, but I have question. Ok SO I ran a compatbility test with my mom's toshiba with 7 and 8, however 8 failed but 7 passed with flying colors, right? Well ever since I've fixed my mom's laptop, I've been having issues with drivers are corrupting on their own, I've spyware, antiviruses and found nothing. I've put in about 120 dollars in single copy of a enterpise class antivirus, well it found nothing. BUt I'm having issues of her laptop locking up, video driver is failing, motherboard, and processor are all good, hard drive is brand new Solid State Drive, however although it is extremely fast nearly 4 times faster, I'm still having issues. I've read on forums that maybe I should update my BIOS, I'm asking NC, cause I trust your opinion, before I even try should I update the BIOS even though the support site states that its possible it can "destroy" the computer. What should I do? Its a Toshiba Satelite built for Vista.
