Jacob had been listening the entire time, but was talking to Phoenix. He fired the magazine from his sniper, eight rounds, killing six elite and brute clones.
Jacob: I don't care how long it will take Phoenix! Go through the database and get me an ID on that Spartan!
Phoenix: Understood. Until then...I'd slow him down.
Jacob grunted and looked through his scope again.
He saw the Spartan on the mongoose approaching fast, passing dozen of brute and elite clones.
Jacob took a deep breath and judged the mongoose's speed. He fired one shot and the bullet found the tire of the mongoose and blew it out.
