Ok...so this guy PMs me 17 times on my Youtube account...with 17 different questions. Why didn't you put all 17 questions in ONE FUCKING PM!!!!? This guy is basically asking me how to mod Halo 3. Here are ALL the PMs in the order I got them...and these are the ones I got TODAY ******************************* so how do i get my hdd in my laptop and rehash and resign all this stuff? and is the 360 HDD just another kind of USB? oh and is it ok if i use a laptop instead of a PC or larger computer for all this stuff like the HDD? this is gonna require a lot of taking apart my xbox to move the HDD around, right? the HDD of an xbox seems a lil big to fit in a laptop lol, unless theres a certain thing i need from it. also, will i safely be allowed to switch back and forth through my live account and the doob account with out damaging aything or somehow ruin another's xbox just by playing with them? also, do i need to unplug my console from the the modem/router or whatever it is that gives it connection to live when im moving the HDD around or anything? this should be what i use to rehash and resign, right? btw, what exactly am i resigning and rehashing? just the folder that has all the stuff about the gamesave mod? or everything is being resigned and rehashed? or what? cuz i dont think im supposed to edit my other profiles for this mod, as i believe im supposed to use the doob one that comes with it. i also dont use an apple laptop/computer, its a windows 7 ultimate or somethng like that but it also used to be a vista but crashed and had to be reinstalled using woindows 7 ultimate lol, idk if this matters though oh woops heres the vid i was talking about previously... *He gave a link to a youtube video* darn then i need somehing to rehash dont i? lol unless this rehasher can also resign i mean need something to resign lol oh ok apparently it can rehash and resign so nvm lol, unless im supposed to use xport to rehash and resign, and idk if im supposed to rehash and resign b4 i use xport, or after, or both, and what exactly im supposed to rehash and/or resign with the mod i showed u from doob e oh no do i need to do stuff like in this vid where i need all those tools to take apart the HDD itself? *He gave a link to a youtube video* maybe i can just take that whole HDD thing after i disconnect it from my xbox and try to see if there is some part to stick into my laptop? and what do ppl mean when they talk about retail stuff? To Sum Up Those Previous Messages... i need u to give me a lil tut of some sort that covers the following topics: -What does it mean when ppl use the word "retail" when they talk about these mods? -What does it mean to "rip?" -How exactly do i get my HDD from my Xbox 360 to connect to my laptop? -What specifically do i need to rehash/resign, and when should i get to this step? -I heard there r things that i must not touch when i take the HDD out of my console, what do these things look like and how can i avoid touching them? -Do i need to unplug the wire connecting my console to the internet at any point? -what part of the mod file/folder should i be moving where? -what program do u recommend i use to rehash/resign? i think i got one, but idk if it does exactly what ur talking about... -do i need to rehash/resign multiple times? or only one time (which is when i get the gamesave into it and put the HDD in my 360)? -Will this mod stop working at some point since it is a gamesave that requires u to click on "resume game" from the odst menu? cuz if i click end game or get to the next mission/level, wouldnt it reset or not work? or would i just keep playing as a grunt throughout all level of the campaign no matter if i make a new overwriting save and load from any mission? -What exactly should i do in XPort? and do i need to update it to the next version and get any applications that it says to get (such as the usb v2 thing)? -is this whole thing gonna take a rly long time? -will i get banned from my live account or get ip banned from anything in any way? Very easy tutorial, first download what one you want to play and extract it ( will need WINrar if you don't have it). Plug in your hard-drive and open up Xport360, and go to Partition 3 > Content > and copy the entire folder into there. Put it back in the Xbox and sign in as "Doob E Snack" and simply go onto halo 3 ODST and go to resume game.
