It serves as an excellent long range sniper weapon. The Carbine has an effective range of about 4800 feet making it a medium to long range weapon. This weapon is standard issue for all sniper forces in the Elite and Brute Military. It is a very light and study weapon with very little recoil. However, the Beam Rifle has one observable disadvantages in combat. Snipers with a trigger finger can put themselves as a massive disadvantage if they do not land their shots the first and second time. The beam rifle can discharge two rapid fire shots before fully overheating, leaving the sniper totally defenseless, and exposed, in a sniper battle. However, those who are more patient can time their shots perfectly to fire at a continual pace without overheating or stopping, up to 10 times.
