Commonly known as the Trip Mine, it has an effective range of about 10 feet. The explosive yield of this mine is always fatal. It is activated by proximity sensors which engage 5 seconds after deployment, to allow the individual deploying the weapon to reach a safe distance from said sesnors. The TR9 Antipersonnel Mine is packed with a high yield explosive that, when trigged by the proximity sensors, will unleash a devastating and fatal explosion to all vehicles and all forms of infantry. It is possible for super soldiers to survive direct contact with the trip mine but it is very unlikely.
