Now I know that there is Fallout 3 thread, but I feel that this topic is something different than that of the original "general" game. I was wondering what people would think of a Multiplayer option for Fallout 3. Instead of having it worldwide and Drop-ins and Drop-Outs like Fable, but limit MP to LAN only and just get a program like Hamachi to LAN up.

It'd be another great way to experience the game. Have it on Multiplayer Co-op and have fun in the Capital Wasteland. Instead of the actual story, the players are typical Wastelanders and thus removing VATS. Conversations would not slow the game, but players are immune to damage during dialogue. And have each player's actions affect the Wasteland. Player 1: "Hey can you come to Megaton to trade?" Player 2: "Yea sure. Be there in a few minutes." "Sucker." *Blows up Megaton* and the player respawns at various sites or possibly a "home location". Fast travel wouldn't pause the game, but it'd be hard to work with.

Now that it's out of my system, thoughts?
