That has become abundantly clear based on how much they know, and also based on the fact that they know what to do with it. Xyrho paused. Xyrho: When I first learned that Vanguard was here, I considered itr a reality that it may have been possible to halt the Construct...to stop its return. Now, I am not so certain that it is possible. There may be no stopping the return of Vanguard. I believe that a battle with The Construct is inevitable, and victory may not be possible. Xyrho paused. Xyrho: A moment ago, you spoke of the stubborn nature of your species. I am curious Chieftain, is your species as stubborn in the face of certain death, as it is in the face of fleeting victory? Is ytour species stubborn enough to fight an Instrument of the Gods...or will they kneel to it? Xyrho paused. Xyrho: If they kneel to it...will they kill YOU if you don't? How far does your trust go in your subordinates when it comes to doing battle with Vanguard? I do not even trust my own Elites with the task. Do you trust your Brutes to obey your orders over Vanguard's commandments? Concurrently: As Tye and Cameron holstered their weapons, Nighthawk turned, as he heard Anaconda groan on the far side of the Prolwer bay. Nighthawk looked over his shoulder at ANaconda, and then back at Tye and Cameron. Nighthawk: You guys go ahead and round yup whatever is left of ONI and the UNSC. I am going to go and check on the big guy over there. Tye looked passed Nighthawk, and saw Anaconda climbing back to his feet. Tye then shrugged, and nodded. Tyber: Very well. I will round up what is left of ONI. I will also contact the brass, and see if I can get a few extra teams over here to help secure the ship. Cameron: I would recommend engineering teams as well to start digging through the mainframe. Tyber: I was thinking the same thing. Nighthawk nodded. Nighthawk: Alright, I will catch up with you two. Nighthawk turned, as he walked off to regroup with Anaconda. Tye and Cameron, on the other hand, turned, and proceeded to the exit of the Prowler Bay, as they were intent on making their way up to the bridge. As Tye and Cameron left the Prowler Bay, and returned to the corridors, Tye sent out a message to any ONI or UNSC forces left on The Ulterior Motive.
