Population Error in recovering data - Try again later. Director Vernette's Personal Notes Earth...it is still our homeworld...in spite of the catastrophic damage done to it due to the war. A lot of the planetary life died, but very little was exterminated. In it's current state, Earth is simply used as a military foothold now, but to control Earth, gives us a sort of hope. When I told ONI I planned to retake Earth, they called me crazy. I used this planet as a rallying effort, to get people back on their feet and forced them to keep fighting...and look at where it has got us? We may not be the super power we used to be...but give us a few more years...and we will be back in it. I should point out that Earth is not beyond repair, and the ecological damage done does not seem to be permanent. ONI has diverted many atmospheric processors to the job of restoring the planet. -Director Vernette
