Tye and Jennifer were still in the Infirmary, still under heavy fire. However, despite this, they could still hear the sound of Human gunfire. Jennifer: Tye...do you hear that? Tyber: Yes, I do. That is the sound of people disobeying a direct order! Jennifer: On the bright side...we won't die! Jennifer looked around the corner, and laid down a bit of SMG fire. She impacted the shields of an Elite, but did not break through rhem. Jennifer returned to cover before she could be hit. Jennifer: Well...whoever is coming this way, better hurry up. We are doing very little damage against these guys. We have been scathing shields...nothing more! There is just too many of them to be able to really focus any fire for any prolonged period of time! Tye nodded. Tyber: Also, it does not help that we have no other weapons to fall back on. Tye sighed. He leaned around the corner, and fired at the closest Elite. This was the same Elite that Jennifer had just fired on. The fire that Tye had just laid down was enough to break the shields of this Elite, and score a killing blow. Tyber: Got one! Jennifer: Well...that's something no? Meanwhile: Anaconda looked right at Dangerus. He growled back, as well as drawing his Hammer and taking an offensive stance. Anaconda: Is that the best you have? A murmur from behind your teeth? I expected more from you! Anaconda paused. Anaconda: I guess I expected too much Anaconda tightened his grip around the shaft of his Hammer. He made it very clear that he was ready to fight. He then noticed that the other Brutes that were with Dangerus had their weapons drawn. Anaconda had to laugh. Anaconda: What's the matter Dangerus? Are you so insecure of your title as Chieftain that you need to get your underlings to fight your battles for you? Are you that much of a coward? Concurrently: Nighthawk and Cameron watched Anaconda and Dangerus talk below. Nighthawk: As soon as they start fighting, we should make our way down to the sub-basement. If I know ANaconda half as well as I think...he should keep those Brutes busy for as long as we need him to. In fact, I am sure he will make it interesting enough to divert the attention of all of those Brutes in the Inner Atrium. Cameron: What if one of them dies? Nighthawk: Doubt it. Anaconda has a very strict code against killing his own kind unless he has no other alternative. As for Anaconda being killed? I doubt he would let it happen. I have seen him survive situations that would kill ANY lesser man...person...whatever. Nighthawk looked at the stairwell. Nighthawk: Let's go! Nighthawk started to move back towards the stairwell. Cameron followed. Te two walked down the remaining stairs, right down to the ground floor. They remained in the stairwell, until the fighting started. Meanwhile: Back in the Sub-Basement, Voro was still laying siege to the Infirmary. However, his attention was diverted when he heard the sound of Human gunfire behind him. He knew that more Humans must be on their way to save their stragglers. Voro looked at two of his Spec-Ops. Voro: The Humans are trying to flank us. You two...come with me. The two Spec-Ops ceased their fire, and they deferred to Voro. Voro engaged his active Camo. The two other Spec-Ops followed suit. The Three Elites turned, and moved back in order to find, and stop, the Humans that were trying to flank Voro and his squad of Spec-Ops.

[Hells Sniper]

Jacob was under cover and didn't see Voro and the other two elites cloak. He figured he had waited enough time between shots and popped back up. The elites had made another push. Tye and Jennifer must have been almost out of ammo. Jacob fired four rounds at the elites closest to Tye and Jennifer. The first two shots did the same as the other two, and he had managed to drop another two elites. The third and fourth took out a third elite. Jacob dropped into cover and made another dash towards Jennifer and Tye. Meanwhile: Dangerus turned and snared at his brutes. He had to take this battle himself. Dangerus grabbed the hammer from his back and turned towards Anaconda. Dangerus: The stories are true... Dangerus began to circle Anaconda, moving around him. Dangerus: A stalker in all dark armor...I wonder where you're little friend is... Dangerus laughed. Dangerus: No matter...I will feast on him when I am through with you! Dangerus growled and jumped into the air, slamming his hammer down. Anaconda saw this and moved out of the way, but the force of the hammer and the gravitational push caused Anaconda to stumble a few feet backwards. Dangerus swung his hammer at Anaconda. Meanwhile: The pelican carrying the Risk-Takers landed in the Mayweather airfield. The seven members all disembarked and were immediately greeted by ODST Black team. Liam: Black Team...always good to see you gentlemen...

[Naked Crook]

ODST Black Team had been waiting for the arrival of The Risk Takers. They were all sitting on ammo crates. Black 1 was the only one that got back to his feet. Black 1: It is about times you Spartans showed up. We have been burning sunshine here...and Nighthawk and Anaconda have trouble staying in one place for very long. IF we hurry, we can get inside of UNSC Regional HQ Bravo before their trail goes cold. Black 4: Besides...we have seen a few Warthogs show up already...filled with wounded Marines. They think we are here to help them. Pfft...have they got another thing coming. The rest of Black Team got back to their feet. Black 1: In any case...let's get loaded up into the Warthogs, and get underway. Black 1 led The Risk Takers, and the rest of ODST Black Team towards the hanger where all of the Warthogs were stored. Black 1: Safties off ladies. If something stasnds in your way..spare the ammo and move it out of the way! Meanwhile: Anaconda saw Dangerus swing his Hammer. Anaconda ducked, and evaded the massive Hammer. Anaconda then lunged upwards, and struck Dangerus under the chin with the shaft of his Hammer. This caused Dangerus to stumble back. Anaconda took this chance to get back to his feet. He charged forward towards Dangerus. Anaconda removed his right hand from his Hammer, while still holding the Hammer with his left, and threw a strong right hook right at Dangerus, knocking him back even further. Anaconda laughed. Anaconda: You presume too much Chieftain. You seem to think you can beat me. I have spent my life keeping whelps like you under my feet. Anaconda paused. Anaconda: Besides...I am curious to see just how far the influence of your false religion has dulled your sense and your instincts.

[Hells Sniper]

Savannah brushed passed Liam and glanced at him. Liam knew what he was about to get into, and all he could hear was the flick of the safeties on his Spartan's weapons. Liam shook his head. He looked around and could see dozens of wounded pouring in from the tunnel, all a little uplifted from seeing seven Spartans walk onto the field. He then turned back to his Spartans. Liam: William and Emma take the gunners seat. Lyle, you drive them. Jess you're on the gunner for Desmond. Savannah will take the gunner for myself and her. Roll out, Spartans! The Spartans all took their seats on three hogs and waited for Black Team to roll out. Meanwhile: Dangerus laughed. Dangerus: I have realized that the religion of our prophets is not the religion of my own...nor my closest packmates. One of my Chieftains taught me that... Dangerus approached Anaconda. Dangerus: I will instead show you the power of a brute. Dangerus swung his hammer in the same pattern, before, knowing Anaconda would dodge it. Just as he expected, Anaconda sidestepped to his left, and Dangerus used this knowledge and kicked him in the gut, pushing him back a bit. Dangerus used the momentum of the hammer to keep moving and with Anaconda's daze, hit him in the side with a large impact. The impact caused Anaconda to fall onto his side, where Dangerus then brought up his hammer to slam on Anaconda.

[Naked Crook]

Anaconda watched as Dangerus raised his Hammer in the air, ready to slam it down. Anaconda, still on the ground, reached to his side, and pulled out his Spiker. He began to shoot Dangerus right in the chest, throwing off Dangerus' balance. Anaconda got back to his feet, and holstered his Spiker again. He hefted his Hammer, and roared. As he did, he charged at Dangerus and slammed the sledge of his Hammer right into Dangerus' gut, dropping the Chieftain right to his hands and knees. As he did this, all of Dangerus' Brutes growled, as they knew that Anaconda had just cheated by drawing his Spiker. All of the Brutes had their attention on Anaconda. Nighthawk and Cameron watched this display from the stairwell. Cameron: When do we move? It looks like those two are tearing up the Atrium. Nighthawk spoke up. Nighthawk: He just cheated during a dual. I have never know him to do that. Sure...he kicks a guy when he is down, or slings the proverbial mud...but to cheat during a dual with another Brute? He never does that. Cheating is, more or less, my thing. In any case, all of those Brutes are now squarly focused on Anaconda. When Brutes focus on something...the rest of the world just kinda...fades away. Trust me on this one. Stay close, move fast...head for the Sub-Basement! Nighthawk nodded to Cameron. Both men bolted from the Stairwell, and headed for the Sub-Basement, totally ignored by the rest of the Brutes in the Atrium. Anaconda stood over Dangerus, but took a few steps back. Anaconda: Cheating...a human trick I have learned, begrudgingly, to appreciate. It serves its purpose from time to time.

[Hells Sniper]

Dangerus roared, he quickly regained his setting and growled at his brutes. Dangerus: He is mine! Dangerus yelled and then turned to Anaconda again. Dangerus: Filthy tactics for someone like you... Dangerus growled at Anaconda, he knew the cheating gave him an unfair advantage, but Dangerus would never fall to the level of using a gun in a duel. Dangerus, this time, chose a different tactic, and charged head on at Anaconda. Anaconda saw this and fired his spiker, slowing Dangerus down a bit. Dangerus still pushed and used his full weight to bring Anaconda into the wall behind him. The sheer weight of the two brutes colliding together caused the wall to break and Anaconda went through the wall landing on his back on the other side.

[Kairu]

Vhat' and his Spec Ops. Elites had continued to siege the UNSC's defensive line. From the shadows, two of the Elites went after Sergei. Vhat' had more of the Elites fire on Sergei's position to keep him in one spot, leaving the Spartan's options limited to nothing, unless Human Ingenuity and knack for luck saved him. Vhat' on the other hand, had two more Elites and himself fire on Carmicle's location still sticking to the shadows so he could be virtually invisible longer and harder to see and hit.

Zephyr nodded, scratching his chin. Zephyr: Definitely not rainbows and sunshine down there. Where are we dropping and what's the objective?

Anaconda grunted as he was pushed through the wall. He looked up at Dangerus. Anaconda: Is that the best you can do Dangerus? I must admit...I am very disappointed in you. You throw your weight around, push me through walls, and pin me to the ground... Anaconda shifted his weight, and rolled Dangerus off of him. Both Brutes got back to their feet. Anaconda: I expected better from you... Anaconda grunted. Anaconda: I have seen more ferocity from Elites. Perhaps under that skin of yours...the fire of an Elite burns. I spit on you. Anaconda laughed as Dangerus charged at him. Anaconda decided to step things up, and engaged his active camo. Anaconda, using his new advantage, moved out of Dangerus' path. This caused Dangerus to stop. Anaconda, with great speed, moved around Dangerus, and approached the Chieftain from behind. Anaconda readied his Hammer, and he struck Dangerus from behind, knocking him forward. Anaconda was being as cheap, as ruthless, and as utterly annoying as he could be. His only goal was to keep Dangerus and the other Brutes occupied until Nighthawk could find Tye. Anaconda disengaged his active camo, and resumed taunting Dangerus. Anaconda: What does that say about a Chieftain when he spends more time on the ground, on his hands and knees? It does not say much! I am half tempted to finish the battle...to kill you, take your title, take your ship, and take your mate if you have one... Anaconda paused. Anaconda: That is, if you even have a mate to call your own. I seriously doubt you do, given your fighting ability. If anything...the only thing a Brute like you can call your own is a rock to put your scent on every night. How pitiful. Meanwhile: ODST Black Team had situated them selves over two different Warthogs; with one driver, and one gunner. Black 1 gave a hand gesture for everyone to move out. Black 1: Alright everyone...let's role! At the top speed of these Warthogs, we should be able to make it to UNSC Regional HQ Bravo in no less than 7 minutes! Floor it! Black 1, who was driving the lead Warthog, floored the accelerator on his Warthog, and started to drive. Meanwhile: Nighthawk and Cameron had moved into the Sub-Basement. Nighthawk was on point. Nighthawk: Alright Spartan...listen to me very carefully; there is only one person in this life that I trust to watch my back, and you are not him. So...do be a favor... Nighthawk paused. Nighthawk: If you see someone coming up behind me...just shoot them...don't say "watch out" or "behind you". That shit wastes time...and it is distracting! Cameron did not reply. Nighthawk: And...keep quiet. Cameron did not reply. Nighthawk: You learn quickly. Cameron shook his head. He was quiet by choice, not by request. Cameron had built his career of off near-silence. He never liked to speak during an Op. Despite this, Cameron had his Assault Rifle in hand, watching Nighthawk's six. Cameron could not believe what he was doing. He could not believe he was actually covering someone like Nighthawk. Cameron was tempted to give serious thought to his priorities, but, he knew that now was not the time. All he knew is that if Nighthawk had any sort of hostility towards him, he would of made it very clear with bullets, and not words. Cameron had never feared anything in his life, and Nighthawk and Anaconda were no exception. However, he had to wonder why they were NOT hostile towards him. Cameron did not understand what made him special. Despite this, the two men continued to move towards the Infirmary. Meanwhile: Voro, and the two Spec-Op Elites had spotted Jacob, and they moved towards the Human who had turned this corridor into his own private kill zone. As Voro moved closer to Jacob, the distortion of his active came became more obvious, to the point where if Jacob looked hard enough, he could see a faint outline of Voro. However, Voro moved quickly, wadting no time in his steps. Voro had approached the Cover that Jacob was behind, and reached right over, and grabbed Jacob by the throat, and lifted him into the air. Before Jacob could retaliate, he spun Jacob, and slammed the Human into the wall as hard as he could, forcing Jacob to drop his Sniper Rifle from the sheer shock of impacting the wall. The force of impact had left Jacob totally disarmed. Voro took this chance to drop his Active Camo, as he continued to squeeze his hand that was around Jacob's throat. Voro: Human filth...I command you to beg for you life. I want your pleas of mercy to make your execution far more satisfying! Voro pulled Jacob back from the wall, and slammed the Human against the wall once more. Voro: Beg for your life! I demand it!

[Hells Sniper]

Harrison: It is definitely the opposite Commander. Harrison pressed a few buttons on his holotable, it was a view of UNSC Regional HQ Bravo. Harrison: About twelve miles from the HQ... The hologram sped across the planet, towards an airfield. Harrison: ...is UNSC Airfield Mayweather. An area still under UNSC control and where the remnants of any marine division, platoon, or squad is heading. Harrison paused. Harrison: Once the Suicide Squad has the radio uplink set up, I am sending you in with forces from various ships...you are to secure the airfield. Heavy weapons, vehicles, airdrops, I'm calling it all in for you and this mission. Meet up with Commander Tyber Vernette, Captain Jennifer Frost, and Captain Jacob Sharpmen...get them on a radio. Understood? Concurrently: Dangerus growled, this time there would be no holding back. In one fluent motion, he picked up his hammer from the ground, turned and swung it upwards. Anaconda had absolutely no time to react and the hammer head hit Anaconda square in the jaw, causing him to fall on his back. Dangerus was now standing and his brutes were howling. Dangerus: Pitiful...a brute on his back...vulnerable...exposed... Dangerus sent one fluent kick to Anaconda's sides as he tried to stand. Dangerus: Disgusting... Anaconda once again tried to stand, but Dangerus forced him down by slamming his hammer on his chest. He could hear part of the armor crack. Dangerus: Weak... Dangerus growled and flipped his hammer, preparing to decapitate Anaconda. He swung his hammer and went for the killing blow. Meanwhile: Liam led his group out of their positions and followed Black team. Meanwhile: Jacob was choking, he was in this situation more times than he cared to count and knew exactly what to do. Jacob used one hand to try and claw his way out of the stranglehold, while the other moved for his combat knife on his side. He managed to utter a few words. Jacob: Behind...y..you. The elite was confused and looked behind him, sure enough that he had Jacob where he wanted. But Jacob started to laugh, he pulled out his combat knife and slammed it into the elite. Before he could penetrate it the elite had turned around and saw the knife. He dodged, but Jacob still managed to hit him in the thigh and he was dropped. Jacob stood quickly and sent a fluent punch to the middle of the elite's abdomen. He then rolled out of the way and removed his magnum, turning to fire on the elite.
