Back Story: The United Star Corps is an government that is located in an undisclosed galaxy.(Uses spirals of N36). The United Star Corps in crisis, an unknown wormhole has just opened and out came the Syn, an alien species that is insectoid in nature but are parasitic much like the flood. They have consumed ships using their technology they have fought the United Star Corps with their own technology. This crisis pushed all USC worlds to have planetary shields but when they stopped consuming ships but started to take over the people, they created the Synex a hybrid of human and Syn. The Syn wars is just beginning. You will take command of a single ship be the captain, and fight the syn or will you join the Syn and fight to wipe out humanity? The galaxy its located is known as Omeris Galaxy. Rules: 1.) No double posting. You must wait for another person to post. 2.) No killing off characters unless you have explicit permission. 3.) You cannot die, unless your character is a total idiot. 4.) Posting explicit content that includes sexual, or sexuality in detail is against RPG rules as well as site and possibly host rules, posting this kind of detail will get you banned. Affection is allowed, if you want to post something about sexual contact you may ask permission only for story arches. 5.) No God moding, you god mode, you will not be able to post. 6.) Please post all characters in the following format: [/sheet][/sheet]. In your first post post all characters in there, for their ships they must have a url to their ships or just the name of the ship. 8.) Military Personnel must show proper respect to all military personnel. All of the main characters are officers so saluting is required. 9.) Key Posters can have total control of the story archs and they can determine if your character is killed off. 10.) If you delay the posting your character may suffer either death or court martial for endangering their ship. 11.) No supernatural powers, nor superhuman powers. You only have the abilities of your race. Key Posters: Erex Organizations: Syn, United Star Corps. Status Codes Status Code Black - Puts ship or station as well as the planet the station or ship is in orbit into a full alert, and to prepare for battle. Gravity Well Generators on Station if present, are to activate prevent all warp travel and jump gate usage inaccessible. Only the Station Commander or highest ranking officer on station may initiate this status code. Status Code Red: Station, ship or planetary sensors array has detected enemy fleet movements, fighters are to deploy immediately and be on standby. Status Code Blue: Merchant ships has been detected. Fighter squadrons are to deploy and escort merchant ships into the dock. Only worlds in high risk areas will use alarm. Status Code Yellow: Damaged vessels or refugee ships has been detected to drop out of warp. Fighter squadrons are secure the ships. Status Code is automatically initiated when detected. Status Code Green: Planet is safe and secure. All travel is allowed. Status Code White: Abondon ship, all military personnel are to ensure the civilians onboard are evacuated first. Once sequence is iniated the self destruct sequence cannot be interrupted, nor disarmed. It requires 3 men to initiate this sequence and only the Captain, First Officer, and tactical officer may bear their own 10 digit code. If the ship self destructs while personnel are still onboard the ship is lost. The ships antimatter reactors will start to meltdown and overload to critical mass. When one ship is in Status Code White, all friendly ships nearby are to regroup approximately 25 kilometers away from the vessel to ensure damage isn't caused. Erex Malren [sheet] Name:Erex Allan Malren Race:Human Rank:Commander Personality: Fearless, dedicated, as well as a fun loving guy, although an contradiction he is plagued by the deaths of his family. Appearance:(Can use the img tags to show an image) Ship Class: Heavy Cruiser Ship Name: Relentless Biography: Born on Carpathia he was a small boy when his brother enlisted in the newly formed United Star Corps to join in on the action of the Border Wars a war between the border worlds of Human worlds and Volian worlds. His brother died in combat onboard the USCS Reaper, one of the first Cruisers to be built in the United Star Corps Navy. Few months later his mother contracted a rare disease that had no cure, and died from it only weeks later. The deaths in his family at such a young age of 9 was enough to give him nightmares of his father dying. His father became an alcoholic and was never around during his teen years. When he was 18 years old he enlisted in the Star Corps to get off world and find new adventure ultimately to get away from the pain. He excelled in combat as a fighter pilot and showed a natural ability to lead others. During the Battle of Essel he and two other fighter squadrons held the line and protected Essel from a new threat known as the Syn. They were rescued by the Carrier Ulimatium and was taken back to Carpathia to regroup. He was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant and given command of the Destroyer Harbinger. The Syn wars was in full bloom when the Harbinger was crippled at the battle of Sua after a full ship evac there were not enough escape pods for him. The ship however had shielding inside the bridge trapping in all the oxygen possible was enough for him to be rescued by a Scout Ship Code Named Fox. He was in critical condition when they found him had the Fox not have on board a Cryostasis reconstruction chamber Erex would have died from his wounds after being onboard a ship bleeding out for more than 2 hours, he used up all the medical supplies on the bridge. He was given a silver star for his combat in the battle of Sua. He was given command of the Heavy Cruiser Relentless as a promotion to Commander after skipping the Lieutenant rank.[/sheet] Alexi Jagor [sheet] Name:Alexi Dereck Jagor Race:Human Rank:Fleet Admiral Personality:A no nonsense military man, years of the military has turned. Appearance:Older aging, with a balding head always wears his hat, and formal wear with his ranks and awards. Ship Class: Leviathan Ship Name: Terra [B]Military ID: 430-2379-392 Biography: Born on a military transport ship. His family settled down on Cydonia, his father sent him at the age of six to a military academy on Carpathia. He graduated Summa Cum Laude top of his class, and joined the United Star Corps Navy starting at the rank of Ensign. He after years of service he became the first Fleet Admiral to command a Leviathan, but he hasn't been seen in places other than his office or the Command Center due to the growing demands of the USC during the Syn Wars and now possibly a war between the guilds.[/sheet] RP Start A man wearing his dress formals walks into his office and puts his hat to his right on his desk. You could see the amount of medals this man earned. The man also had a ranking insignia of Fleet Admiral. His white uniform was undeniable that he was the USC Navy's own Fleet Admiral Alexi Jorgor. He opens a comm to all the ships docked on the station over Carpathia; the United Star Corps capital. FADM Jorgor: This is Fleet Admiral Jorgor, you are to report immediately to the Debriefing room, ASAP. The Debriefing is in 15 minutes. Failure to show up will not be good. The Admiral awaited for any responses when he heard one pipe up. Meanwhile Erex Malren: This is Captain Erex Malren of the Relentless, I hear you loud and clear I'll make my way immediately sir. Erex puts away his files and starts to walk out when he forgot to get his cover. USC directives require covers on your head. As Erex made his way to the Auditorium he looks around and notices he is the firts person to show up. He then walked up to Fleet Admiral Jorgor. He salutes the admiral. Erex Malren: Captain Erex Malren reporting sir. FADM Jorgor: At ease Captain. How you liking your new ship? Malren: Its a good ship sir. Jorgor: Good? Good you say, how about the only ship of its class. It was supposed to be an entirely new class of Heavy cruiser the Harridan-class but it was cancelled Carpathian Shipyards wanted too much for it, nearly 18 trillion per heavy cruiser. Malren: I don't understand why they wanted so much, I'm sure they put 3.5 meters of ablative armor otherwise its the same as all the others. Jorgor: Wrong Captain, it does have something probably wasn't briefed on it but still, it has stronger shield emitters thats it. Malren: I see sir. Jorgor smurked. Jorgor: You remind me of my son, he was a good soldier went down with his ship just like a real captain does. He died fighting the Syn, he ordered the evacuation of his ship and self destructed to ensure the Syn couldn't use it. You look like him, but your mannerism are off. Malren: Yes sir. Jorgor: You see, my son had a wife and child, he never met his daughter. His daughter was born the day he died merely minutes before his death. Malren: I'm sorry for your loss sir. Jorgor wiped a tear away from his eye. He is a man who rarely cries and to cry in front of an officer, he was remembering the HoloMessage he recieved that his son was killed in combat. Jorgor: Well captain, take a seat and wait for the others. Malren: Yes sir.

Adrian Yates [sheet] Name: Adrian Yates Race: Human Rank: Commander Personality: Mature, level headed and adept at command but can be condescending. Appearance: (Lobo's profile avatar) Ship Class: Carrier Ship Name: Specter Biography: Born in the slums of an occupied planet, Adrian grew up in a poor household with his parents Duke and Sarah. Adrian spent his youth dodging the military police and earning a living by transporting clothing and medical supplies to the farmers in return for food and water. His father Duke was a colonel in the Armed forces and often spoke of the "old days when Aquila was rich, the soldiers kept the streets safe and when Terra sat calmly on her throne". Inspired by his fathers patriotism, at age 17 he lied about his age and joined the Sentinel Counter Assault Regiment SCAR. He spent most of his life with a small band of SCAR Raiders; Hijacking trade ships, looting military installations and boarding more pirate ships then he cares to remember. Because of this he is a skilled ground fighter and favors fire-fights in hangars over Dog-fights in Fighters, he is notorious for infiltrating ships and capturing key staff or VIP's to force the crew to surrender. All in an attempt to free his home from the invaders. After over a decade of harassment from SCAR and several VIP's being killed by Raiders, the invaders decided to abandon the occupation and recalled their fleet. But not without deploying a virus bomb designed to kill the planet. When Adrian returned to his homeworld the virus had only just started taking its human toll. After a few weeks he watched people getting sick and dying eerily, one of which was his Mother Sarah. Some of the dead reanimated into mutants that killed much of the surviving population. He found a young orphan girl named Ariel and decided to adopt her, in the decade that followed he survived as his home fell apart and died at the hands of the virus. Duke managed to salvage a ship called the Specter and evacuated the survivors off world. When Adrian looked and saw his once Gaia world turned to an Arid wasteland he Snapped a little. Now nearly 40 he, his father Duke and daughter Ariel command the specter and a small Raider group across the galaxy where they were hired by Star corps for their specialized skills.[/sheet]

An Ensign walks up to the Fleet Admiral. And promptly salutes the Admiral. Ensign: Admiral Jorgor sir. Jorgor: At ease Ensign what is it? Ensign: An unknown carrier has been detected just out of sensor range. A probe caught the signature sir. Jorgor: Hhm, hail the vessel. Ensign: Already tried sir, no response. Jorgor: Send him a transmission. Ensign: No sir, protocols state if they do not respond to a hail then they are to be treated as a threat. Silence is considered hostile. Jorgor: Damn protocols. Ensign then tell me what we do then? Hhm you want me to order a flight of fighters to attack a carrier? Ensign: No sir. Jorgor: Get the Dauntess to go check it out. Ensign: Yes sir. The Ensign salutes before leaving the Admiral. The Ensign then hails the Heavy Cruiser Dauntess. Ensign: This is Ensign Temple, under orders of Fleet Admiral Jorgor you are to proceed to the following coordinates and investigate the unknown carrier. Captain Aran: Authorization? Ensign: Bravo Bravo 3-2-3-1-4-3. Captain Aran: Authorization code checks out. Navigator proceed to the coordinates immediately. We are going to check this ship out. When the Dauntess arrives to the Carrier, it appeared to be abondoned, its armor plating has been stripped off of it, and appears to have a Tey'talian insignia on it. Captain Aran: Ensign you still there? Ensign: Yes sir, whats the situation? Captain Aran: We have Tey'talians, the carrier is of Tey'talian orgin. Ensign: Are you sure? Captain Aran: I wouldn't be telling you this if it wasn't true. Ensign: Right away! The Ensign returns to the Admiral and Erex malren. Salutes Fleet Admiral Jorgor. Ensign: Sir the Carrier is of Tey'talian orgin it appears to be abondoned sir. Jorgor: Tey'talians never abondon a ship especially carriers, you know how hard those things are to come by to hijack? Ensign: What are you saying sir? Jorgor: There are Tey'talian gunships nearby, put the station on Status Code Black! Ensign: Right away sir. As soon as the Ensign puts the station in Status Code Black alarms and sirens go off in the station. Then a female computer voice can be heard. Station AI:"Alert Alert, Status Code Black has been initiated. All personnel report to battle stations, All personnel report to Battle Stations. Status Code Black has been initiated. " From outside the station the laser flak cannons and plasma cannons start to swivel around looking for any targets. Jorgor: Malren I need you out there immediately. Malren: Yes sir. Malren salutes Jorgor, as Jorgor returns the salute. Erex Malren returns to the Relentless. Jorgor goes to a console and sends a secure transmission to a friendly face on his IFF(identify friend or foe). Jorgor: Captain Yates, I am in need of your skills, please come to carpathia, be here in 2 hours time, we need to discuss something very important. That is all. He closes the transmission. And awaits Yates and his ship.

In the bridge of the Specter Adrian and his crew are still running repairs. The lights are flickering and the ship is heavily damaged. Adrian notices a message from Erex Malren requesting his skills. Adrian: Ariel, plot a course for the relentless. Malren is calling in a favor. Ariel: The ships still not combat ready, sir. We still have a lot to repair. Adrian: I don't think he needs the ship. He said skills. A carrier doesn't offer much in the way of skill's does it. Tell him we will be there in 2 hours. Ariel activates the warp drive and gets as close to the Relentless as possible. The gravity well generators stop them from getting any closer. Ariel: Gravity well generators are preventing us from entering their space. Should I hack it? Adrian: No, no don't hack it we will travel at sublight. Deactivate the cloaking field so they know its us. The Specter continues its approach to the relentless as Adrian sends a transmission to Commander Malren. Adrian: Malren, you wanted to speak with us?

[Erex]

Jorgor looks at the transmission log and opens a hail. Jorgor: Aaah Yates, how are you? I am aware your ship is damaged, can it go to warp though? If so I'll have crews work on your ship while I discuss whats going to happen. Meanwhile Malren: All hands open fire, Tey'talian gunships detected their coming at ramming speed. Fire at them immediately. As the Tey'talian gunships soar through space as fast as they possibly could they were no matching for the Relentless. They opened fire not even denting the Relentless's shields causing a them to turn on their after thrusters accelerating them even further. Gunner: This is gunner 1, I have a target, opening fire. The plasma cannon opens fire and tears the Tey'talian gunship apart as did the other guns kill thier intended targets.

Adrian steps away from his repairs to answer Jorgor. Adrian: yes, we have warp capabilities though the drive has a tendency to overheat. The Warp coil was badly damaged when we broadsided a destroyer. Other than that fine, foods running a little low though. The specter finally arrives at the station. After a lengthy docking procedure (due partly to the ships stealth field and the docking clams being disabled) Adrian exits his ship and makes his way to Jorgor's office. Along the way he spots several security details staring at his non star corps uniform. Despite being hired by Starcorps Adrian still wears his SCAR uniform, which being black with a red bandana around his neck and a gas mask tends to stand out from the clean cut white uniforms of the other officers. He arrives at the admirals office and knocks on the door. "You, needed to speak with me sir"

[Erex]

Jorgor: Yes Adrian, I've made sure the Specter gets refitted repaired and restocked. I need you on a mission. Malren please come in. Malren walks in and salutes Admiral Jorgor. Jorgor: Adrian, I will need you and the Relentless to rendovous with the Task Force Nova fleet deep in Syn territory. We lost contact with another fleet. The Black Fleet, one of our largest, however the probably due the Syn. We need to find the fleet if its overrun by Syn eliminate the fleet. Got any questions gentlemen? I dont' need to tell you two how dangerous the Syn are; Adrian during this mission you are not to board their ship or you will be consumed by the infection. Stay onboard your ship unless they board you. Captain Malren I want you to protect the Specter as you know the Carriers are meant for full front assaults. Any questions gentlemen? Malren: I got a few.... Jorgor interrupts Jorgor: Good; dismissed. Time is of the essence, Adrian we will talk payment afterwards.

Adrian: Yes, Admiral. Adrian turns his to Erex. Adrian: If black fleet has been overrun by the Syn, its likely the command ship has a detailed Battle report we should recover. If we find any non consumed ship's I'll try and salvage what information I can. We should also try and recover a few syn bodies, maybe science division can use a few samples. Adrian leaves the office and heads for the Specter when he receives a transmission from Ariel. Ariel: They've fixed up the ship, soooo...how much? Adrian: We haven't talked payment yet. Are the stealth generators back online? Ariel: Haha funny, seriously how much? And yeah they are back online...computers still a little glitchy though. Adrian: Good, and I'm serious we didn't discuss pay yet. And another thing, Jorgor specifically ordered us not to board the enemy ships. Ariel: WHAT! But I cannot stab them from inside the ship! How are we going to take their ships out? All we have is a carrier and not even a full fighter compliment. You only use the Heavy bombers as make shift boarding craft remember. Adrian: We have the Relentless backing us. And we aren't going up against pirates again, its the Syn. Apparently black fleet was overrun and we need to meet with Task force Nova to check it out. Adrian boards the Specter and heads to the bridge Adrian: Ariel sync the specters control interface with the Relentless. Where it goes we go whether I'm here or not, understood. Ariel: Yes... Adrian: Look we're going to get paid, I'm positive this time. Ariel roll's her eyes as she looks over to Adrian "Thats what you said last time" Adrian looks to Duke for some reassurance but Duke just stares at him. realizing there is nothing smart to be said here, Adrian excuses himself and leaves the bridge. Duke starts to head out behind him but pauses in the door way. Keeping his back turned to Ariel he says. Duke: Ariel, are you starving? Ariel a little confused at his question replies: No... Duke: Do you have water and shelter? Ariel: well yeah. Why? Duke ignores her question and walks out. Leaving Ariel alone in the bridge to ponder.

Jorgor goes to sit at his desk to think of a payment. Jorgor then alerts Task Force Nova of the new comers. Admiral Teyon(Will post his Character sheet today): Yes sir, we will be awaiting the newcomers. Jorgor: Your still in command but I want Malren and the Specter to be protected at all cost. Teyon: Admiral any reason? Jorgor: We are going to retrieve the computer core from the Fleet Command Battleship from Black Fleet. Teyon: Your kidding me? We need an splicer to get into that computer and its illegal. I don't like the Specter on the Task force rosters sir, I'm not comfortable with Mercenaries. Jorgor: Admiral, I trust him and his crew. And he has special skills that are needed. Teyon: How much you paying him this time. Jorgor: Thats confidential for now, once we discuss the payment I'll let you know. Teyon: Very well sir. But if that merc so much as retreat I'm ordering Nova to fire upon the Specter. Jorgor: Very well, if he does you may save me a lot of credits. Jorgor closes the connect and access the USCNAVCOMS to try to ping the Ballista the Command vessel of the Black Fleet. When a computer voice appears. Ballista AI: Overide code Ballista 0 3-30203-23932-29302-3943-22 Jorgor: Thats no code, Ballista is infected. Ballista AI then plays a video thats entirely corrupted with no video just an broken sythetic audio. Jorgor sends a transmission to the Specter and the Relentless. Jorgor: Gentlemen, listen I've just got access to the Ballista the Command ship. You are not to board the vessel under any cirumstances. However Malren send over a special forces team to the Specter. And Yates I was just made aware that your last job you never recieved payment, my assistant just made me aware, You'll recieve payment from last mission plus an extra 15% and then we'll discuss this missions payment. The ship known as Derelict an unconsumed Destroyer is under stealth it has no damage reports. See if you can board it. Thats where the special forces team will come in. Understood? God speed

Adrian replies to Jorgor's transmission: Understood, Admiral. Adrian looks over to Duke: Hey Duke, a Special forces team will be arriving from the Relentless. Make sure they are welcome.
