The New Fallout RPG

[Erex]

Folex: Well General, I'm looking around and I see movement but not sure if its us or enemy.

[Naked Crook]

Meanwhile: Skinner left the labs, and left his scientists to work. He proceeded to walk to his private room to be alone with his thoughts. He needed to think. He needed to know how to deal with The Legiln, and how to deal with The Brotherhood. These two powerful factions would soon be going head to head, and Skinner needed a plan of action. Skinner entered his room, and aplroached an Enclave terminal that wss sitting on a desk. He turned his on, and began to view a map of The Capital Wasteland. The map contained infotmation on Enclave, Legion, and to a limited extent, Brotherhood movement. Skinner lookdd at all three factions, and began to formulate ideas. Skinner: The Legion and Brotherhood seem to keep their distance, but The Legion is spreading out quickly. It will not be long before they start crossing paths. However, this will not happen soon enough. I need to accelerate this conflict. I may need to push Caeser II to accelerate their advance. On the other hand...The Brotherhood could use a bit of motivation to engage The Legion. Both options are good...but which is best?

[Kairu]

Sam turned around and nodded to Achilles. Sam: "Sir, we have Legion scouts all along the other side of the Dam. No doubt that if they used snipers, they'd have them deployed too. As for the rumors of Enclave soldiers, I can confirm that I have spotted a few of them. As of the moment though, they are maintaining their position."

[Hells Sniper]

Achilles nodded. Achilles: Interesting..that warrants our investigation. Captain, Major, I want you both to come with me. A few other snipers will be taking over your shifts. Morgan immediately began to gather his gear, within a few moments he was ready. Achilles had turned to one of his guards and sent him to summon three snipers. He turned back and waited for Herbert to be ready to move.

[Kairu]

Sam grabbed his sniper rifle and his spare ammon and was also ready to move.

[Hells Sniper]

Achilles nodded and headed down the ladder, followed by his guards, Morgan, and finally Herbert. They made their way back to the HQ, where the rest of the brass would be meeting. On their way their, one of Achilles' guards rejoined him, and two snipers ran past, headed towards the tower. Eventually, Achilles and the others made their way into the main building of Hoover Dam and headed towards the conference room. As soon as they entered, four officers of the NCR stood, saluting Achilles. Achilles sent a salute back and the officers sat down. Achilles motioned for Herbert and Morgan to take a seat at the far end of the table, as Achilles sat at the head of it. Achilles: Gentlemen...ladies...first order of business. The Legion and Enclave.

[Kairu]

Sam took a spot at the motioned seat.

[Erex]

Folex held his weapon in the prone posistion. Folex:Ready sir.

[Hells Sniper]

Achilles laid back in his seat and looked at the officers in front of him. Achilles: First off...let's introduce everyone. Major Samuel Herbert, Captain David Morgan, and Captain Folex are sitting at the far end of the table. Morgan tipped his head to the four officers. The officers nodded at the three gentlemen. Each of them begin to introduce themselves. Martin: Brigadier General George Martin. Trisha: Colonel Trisha Jameson. O'Donnel: Lieutenant Colonel Cole O'Donnel, nice to meet you gentlemen. Carter: Commander Bill Carter. Each of the four officers nodded at everyone, tipping their hats. Achilles seemed content with the introductions and finally stood. His four guards surrounded the room, covering each exit. Achilles reached into a bag that was lying in front of him and pulled out a map. It was one of the maps of the Mojave Wasteland. Achilles had four red circles in his hand, placing one in each corner of the map to lay it flat. The map was clear, it showed NCR-controlled territory, disputed territory with fiends and other raiders, the New Vegas strip was clearly marked, and the Legion-controlled area was also marked. Achilles cleared his throat, pulling out four gold pins, and holding them in his hand. Achilles: As you all know...the Enclave seem to have joined the sides of the Legion in this conflict. We do not know, we do not know when, all we know is that there are Enclave soldiers working with Legion scouts on the other side of the dam. Achilles placed one of the gold pins in the area marked "The Fort" on the map. Achilles: Brotherhood of Steel activity has also increased the past few days. Their most popular sightings have been around here. Achilles placed a gold pin at 188 Trading Post. Achilles: The New Vegas strip is also being attacked more frequently by Fiends, and we are losing a lot of good men. Achilles placed a gold pin in the New Vegas strip area. Achilles: The Legion have also increased their entry into our territory in one specific area, mainly boat rides. However, since that area is overwhelmed by cazadors, they seem to have taken a few steps back. Achilles placed a pin in Calville bay. He stood straight, hands behind his back. Achilles: Four areas of concern...with three, and four if you count House, major enemies. This...is uncalled for. This is reckless. And this is not what I want to see when I come to the Mojave! Achilles tone had changed dramatically from his entry into the room. He was angrier and louder. Achilles: I wanted two problems! The Legion and Brotherhood! I did not want House, nor did I want fiends. What the hell have you ladies been doing!? Achilles was obviously pointing his finger more at the four officers, rather than Folex, Herbert, and Morgan. He glared at each of them, waiting for a response. Martin: General...if I may interject. Mr. House has an army of robots on his side...our embassy is doing their best to -- Achilles: Their best!? Their best would be our control of the strip by now! And Colonel O'Donnel...you were in charge of the Fiends what the fuck happened! O'Donnel: Sir, the Fiends are much more organized than we had previously imagined. An HQ at Vault 3, and countless leaders, which I have ordered a Major to begin putting bounties on--- Achilles slammed his fist on the table. Achilles; Bounties!? You are resorting to bounty hunters to finish the job! What the fuck am I paying those soldiers for then? O'Donnel was silent, he could not respond. Achilles took a deep breath and rubbed his eyes. Achilles; Colonel Trisha, the Brotherhood? Let me guess, unable to locate a headquarters? Trisha: Yes, sir. Achilles: Commander Carter, since I haven't spoken to yet, what is the situation with the Legion? Carter: It is not good, sir. We are holding them back, but they are advancing, and with the Enclave on their side, we may have a serious problem. Achilles sighed. He reached into his bag and pulled something out, placing it behind his back. Achilles: I am not pleased. Not. One. Bit. This is outrageous. Four of my best officers, with some of the best soldiers the NCR could muster cannot even handle a pack of drug-induced civilians with sticks. Nor a 260-year old man with a robot...Nor an old man with an army of slavers. Each of you should be ashamed of yourselves. You have disappointed me, General Oliver, and the NCR. And trust me when I say, if Oliver was here in replace of me, none of you would be keeping your current jobs. This is it, ladies. Now...since I am here, you are going to get your shit together, you are going to fucking take the Strip, kill the Fiends, and end the Legion! Achilles slammed an arrow into the back. It was all gold, from the tip to the feathers, all gold. Achilles: I am not going to fail here, so bring me a list of all the platoons we have, all the shit I have to deal with. And for fucks sake, get your heads out of your asses. Achilles sighed. Achilles: You four are dismissed, the rest of you stay here. Martin, Trisha, Cole, and Carter each stood. They saluted Achilles and left the room, heading out to get the files Achilles had requested. Achilles finally took a seat and rubbed his eyes, he took a deep breath and exhaled. After a few moments and looked at the three soldiers in front of him. Achilles: Now...I brought the three of you here for a reason. I guess it's time you heard it.

[Erex]

Folex stood there listening with extreme interest. Folex:Yes sit? Folex had a quizzical face now meanwhile Fade was sitting in the room looking out past the walls.
