Kairu: "No, not that I saw. But I would recommend that we assume that this faction got their vertibirds from the Enclave. Either by force or by an alliance. I would assume with how efficienct they were at combatting us, that they could easily combat the Enclave too."

Meanwhile: Williamson and her scouts had arrived at Hoover Dam, they had evaded NCR patrols and entire battalions. Williamson was the first one up, she crawled over the hill and looked at the dam. There were dozens of NCR soldiers, Rangers, and officers all over the dam. On the far side, Williamson could see only the faint image of three soldiers with her binoculars. Two were definitely Legion, but the third was something different. It was wearing power armor...black. Williamson's jaw dropped, it was one of the Brotherhood's old rivals...the Enclave. Williamson couldn't believe her eyes, it was the Enclave all right. But what was an Enclave soldier doing with two Legion Scouts? And more importantly, how the hell did they even form this...truce? That's what she would report to her elders at least. A truce between the Legion and Enclave...maybe that would get the Brotherhood out West moving again.

[Erex]

Fornex: So hey what are we doing? NCR Trooper: Shut it, and keep watch. Fornex: Well this is a little boring.... NCR Trooper: It is boring, its not fun buts it my job and I'm gonna do it. You don't want no Enclave or Super Mutants coming after us, now shut your mouth and get eyes on the enemy see if they are still moving. Fornex: Where's the commander? He was nicknamed by his friends "Fade" because he had an uncanny ability to fade into the shadows, and could sneak up on you without your knowledge. However he proved to his squad he was in, that he was worth keeping. Sili was is his trainer, and taugh "Fader" how to shoot and fight, he was "Faders" best friend. When Sili was injured he fought off a NCR squad when they were walking through the forest and the NCR were somehow waiting. Fade opened fire first starting the battle, that Sili got injured. Both instances where Fade encountered NCR troopers he opened fire, as he follows a shoot first ask questions later. He earned the title Apprentice during another encounter with the NCR,Fade was the only one to survive the battle becauses, Sili told "Fade" to run and Fade into the shadows because that's what Fade is good at. Fade hid in a cave for a few hours after the wanderers walked right past him. A few months later he was at the HELIOS One Energy Plant. During this time he attained the rank of Knight after a major defeat at Operation:SUNBURST when their leader Elijah abondoned him and his brothers, Fade aided a Paladin and 12 other Brotherhood Apprentices hold the line while the rest retreated. Fade near the end of the retreat was back to back with the Paladin, and the held NCR off for nearly an hour at a standstill. When the Paladin ran out of ammunition he told Fade give your gun, and run like hell. Fade told him he won't retreat, my brothers are still endangered talking about the Paladin. When they both managed to make a run for it. When the Paladin was injured Fade removed the armor off of the paladin, exposing his injury; he then gave the paladin his gun, and carried him to safety. The Paladin requested Fade to be promoted for heroism. Fade not forgetting that he was angry at Elijah for abondoning him and his men, saw him as a weak leader, and strived to never be Elijah. Xanatos: I agree. You raise some very valid points Kairu. Xanatos paused. He thought for a moment. Xanatos: If we are faced with a new threat from an unknown faction...we may need to bolster of offensive strength. For some time now...I have considered ending The Brotherhoods involvement in the escorting and distribution of Project Purities water supply. While I want to maintain control of the water supply, I no longer have any interest in sending out our knights to defend the caravans. Those soldiers will be needed to combat this new threat. Kairu...I want you to send word to all Brotherhood members currently out in the wasteland that are responsible for the protecting of the caravans...tell them to come home immediately.

[Kairu]

Kairu: "The Judgement will personally see to it. For the Brotherhood." Kairu gave the Brotherhood salute as he started to dismiss himself from Elder Xanatos' presence.

[Naked Crook]

Xanatos: Wait...Kairu...before you go. There is one final thing that I must ask of you... Xanatos paused. Xanatos: If and when you encounter this unknown faction again, and I am sure we will encounter them again, I want you to gather whatever you can that belongs to them. If this faction is moving into the DC area to stake a claim...they will most certainly have a banner, a symbol...something that represents them. I want you to bring something like this back so we can examine it. Perhaps we can begin to gather clues about who we are dealing with.

[Kairu]

Kairu: "As you wish, Elder." Kairu saluted again, and headed to the armory. He wanted his power armor checked from the praetorian's attack and restock on his assault rifle ammo. Meanwhile Samuel took note of the three enemy soldiers at the end of the Dam. Two were recognizably Legion. The third was a mystery to him. Samuel: "I know your being that kind of silent, mysterious stranger type of person, but do you recognize the third person? Looks like modified Brotherhood power armor."

[Naked Crook]

Meanwhile: Skinner stepped out of his Virtibird and looked at Caeser II, who was demanding to speak with him. Skinner: We need to speak? Of course we do... Skinner paused. Skinner: Well...what do you want to speak about?

[Hells Sniper]

Morgan nodded. Yet, he still wouldn't speak, Morgan patted Samuel on the back and brought him to the radio. The radio was buzzing about with a lot of communication between NCR soldiers and officers, but Morgan squared in on a certain range. Talking were two NCR officers, one was obviously very high up in the chain of command. Officer: It couldn't be...they disappeared years ago, didn't they General? General: I am not so sure, Colonel. We have known for years that some pockets have always been around since their defeat...yet, to side with the Legion. Officer: But, were you not there General? Did you not see them fall? General: I personally killed many of them...but that does not count for anything. There was a pause on the radio. General: The Enclave leaders may be dead...but their vision will always carry on...and it seems, this vision has caught the eyes of the Legion. Officer: Orders, General Achilles? Achilles: No man crosses that dam until I arrive, understood? Officer: Understood, General. Meanwhile: Caesar II began to walk, motioning Skinner to follow. Caesar II: Skinner, my men combated the Brotherhood quite well, however in greater numbers I fear we may not stand a chance. Caesar II stopped in front of the door to the Vault. Caesar II: My men need to train...which means I need power armor outfitted for them, full training exercises for my Praetorians and Centurions begin immediately. They need power armor, and they need experienced soldiers to fight against. Your Enclave soldiers will do, non-lethal of course, just some simple training on how to move and fight inside it. Caesar II activated the door. Caesar II: Within the day...I want power armor for fifteen of my men. No exceptions Skinner...or soon, more Enclave soldiers will be hanging off those poles. Caesar II pointed to two Encalve soldiers that had been crucified earlier in the week. Their lifeless bodies hanging there as a message to all who defy Caesar II.

[Kairu]

Samuel whispered to himself. Samuel: "Enclave.... this is serious indeed." Samuel stood by the radio waiting for any possible orders. He decided not to ask Morgan as he was still playing the silent game.
