Nighthawk: Well, I am a hell of a lot better than The Trust is. I am not as bad as they say I am. While it is true that I have put a bullet into quite a number of people, and yes, it is true that I have played a roll in killing a few Spartans...everyone I put a bullet into had it coming...because they were traitors. Nighthawk paused. Nighthawk: I may not wear that Uniform anymore Harrison...but I sympathize with the plight it represents, and I will be damned if a God damn traitor is going to undermine the integrity of that uniform. I still believe that it stands for something good. I want to be proved right about that. Just as Nighthawk said this, Cameron and Tye entered the main Terminal of the Spaceport, and approached Harrison and Nighthawk. Tyber: Aaaannndddd...here we are again...all of us. I am ever so curious to hear why we have all reconvened. Meanwhile: Xyrho continued walking with Dangerus, as the two entered the hanger bay. Xyrho: Barrabus is a good example of what I see as the best qualities that your kind has to offer. To be frank, he has the right qualities. You seem to share many of his qualities, which is good for you. You run your fleet with an iron fist, you are capable, and very respectable. You also seem to be a free thinker, as opposed to rehashing the ramblings of The Covenant. I have always had a respect for people who think for themselves. It shows intelligence. Meanwhile: The Pelican that had been designated to pick up Cochraine and Reynolds arrived in the hanger bay only about 2 minutes after Reynolds and Cochraine had arrived. The Pelican simply landed, and the rear hatch of the transport opened to allow both Reynolds and Cochraine to board the vessel. The pilot of the Pelican was dressed in fatigues that were more along the lines of an ODST, but the BDU was defiantly not along military standard.

Harrison nodded at Nighthawk and then started to notice the senior staff gathering. Harrison: Alright, everyone, gather round. Moments later, Jacob, Athios, and Carmicle all came rushing in. They approached the group. Harrison looked around. Harrison: Good, that's everyone. Nighthawk, your chance to speak. Meanwhile: Dangerus nodded. Dangerus: Chieftain Barrabus helped me see that, through all the years under his command. Dangerus shrugged. Dangerus: Knowing my culture and my race's history has also inspired that free thinking you speak of. It has been nice to...learn the other way of thinking. Both the Covenant's religion, my own culture, and my own thoughts. It has shaped who I am, and I cannot ask for anything better.

Calhoun and Robertson joined into the group when the rest of the group arrived. In Orbit: Reynolds and Cochraine boarded the Trust pelican. By this point, neither of the two knew what exactly was going to happen. Reynolds had the general plan, but he knew the details had become a "need to know" basis and suffice to say, he knew he didn't rank high on that list. Anderson had returned to the bridge of the Mind's Attrition where he saw off the pelican for its return to the Ulterior Motive.

Nighthawk looked around. Nighthawk: I am going to keep this VERY brief, and very to the point. Now, there are a few new faces around here here. A lot of you people I know quite a bit about, but a few of you never really peaked my interest. The point is...as ffar as people I don;t know like the back of my hand...I have serious trust issues...in more ways than one. Nighthawk paused. Nighthawk: With that said...the reason you are all here, is because I need your help. Believe me...it scars my pride to say that...and my out of control ego will NEVER recover from saying what I just said...but it is the truth. I need numbers...and I need backup if I do this. What are we doing you all ask? SImple...we are going to investigate and sweep an "ONI" Facility that I am not familiar or was even aware of. Nighthawk put the word ONI in air quotes. Nighthawk: Now...when I say "ONI"...what I really mean is potentially rouge and outside the chain of command. I want to find out what the hell is inside of this facility, and find out if it is being used as a launch pad for counter-UNSC operations. Nighthawk paused. Nighthawk: If it turns out that this is a legit facility being run by legit ONI officials, and I simply just didn;t know about it...we are going to walk away and leave it be. However, if there is anything wrong with this building...anything at all...if there is even one stone out of place...we are kicking the door down and walking in. Nighthawk paused again. Nighthawk: Now...if any of you ladies lack the testicular fortification to take a risk like this...you are free to get the hell out of my sight, and walk away. We can do it without you. However, those of you that have the added mass most befitting men...then you are to gear up, take safties off, and get into the "shoot to kill" mind set...right now. Meanwhile: Xyrho: I have lookd at your history. I am aware of many of the...more colourful aspects that your culture was used to before you were uplifted. I will admit...there was a certain appeal to it. Xyrho paused. Xyrho: My own culture is very sterile...far too organized and structured. Yours always struck me as more tangible...more rough. Less structure, more spontaneous. More indicative of what makes life...life. Xyrho paused. Xyrho: My views are in the minority...the vast minority. However...they are my views, and I stand by them. Meanwhile: The Trust pelican had departed the Mind;s attrition, and had headed off in the direction of The Ulterior Motive. The Pelican pilot hit the thrusters to full, as the Pelican sped back towards The Ulterior Motive. It was not long before the Pelican had reached The Ulterior Motive, and docked in the hanger bay. Yates had been waiting in the hanger bay, waiting for the Pelican to return. Wen the Pelican ahd landed, Yates circled around to the rear of the Pelican, and watched as the rear hatch opened. Yates: Captain Reynolds, Lt. Commander Cochraine...welcome to The Ulterior Motive... Yates paused. Yates: Don't let the name put you off. It is, just a name, after all... Yates gave a grin. As he did, the Pilot left the cockpit, and stepped off the Pelican. He stood behind Yates, armed with his Assault Rifle. Yates turned his head, and dismissed the ODST with his hand. The ODST saluted, and walked off. Yates looked back at Reynolds and Cochraine. Yates: Follow me...

Calhoun and Robertson looked at each other. Robertson: "Hey man, I guess I don't get out enough to know who you are, but if it's a chance to blow something up, I'm in 100%." Calhoun: "And if he's blowing something up, I should go to make sure he doesn't blow up the whole planet. I'm in too." Meanwhile: Reynolds and Cochraine followed Yates. Cochraine was put off, but Reynolds was intrigued at how different the ship was. Cochraine: "Where are you taking me? Marcus didn't go into enough detail. He says you're going to help me recover. What's this really about?" Reynolds: "Commander, show some respect. I told you, he's going to help heal you sooner than scheduled. I'm helping you get back to your feet as you want. I'm helping you get what you want. Don't you trust me?" Cochraine: "After pulling a pistol on the Chief Medical Officer, I'm not sure who to trust." Reynolds: "Sir, please assure her that you have every intention of helping her. She's not listening to my consults."

[Hells Sniper]

Jacob laughed. Absolutely no one moved. Harrison: And that's why they're here. Meanwhile: Dangerus nodded. Dangerus: Our kinds history is very...unique. Dangerus looked at Xyrho. Dangerus: I admire your loyalty to your own views, and your admiration of the other races. It is...a welcoming change.

[Naked Crook]

Yates stopped. He turned and looked at Cochraine and Reynolds. He looked back and forth at the two for a moment, then looked at Cochraine. Yates: You can trust us. trust me when I say you can trust us. Yates paused. Yates: We have access to medical technology that the rest of the UNSC does not. IN fact, I dare say...tat the UNSC is dealing with mid-evilism compared to what we have. We know what we are doing...and we have been doing it for a long time. I assure you my dear...you will be fine. Yates turned around, and continued walking. He continued walking towards the med bay. However, Yates stopped outside the Medical bay. he once again turned around to face Cochraine and Reynolds. Yates: I will level with you two...our CMO...lacks the M in CMO. He is not TECHNICALLY a medical doctor. Yates then rolled his eyes. Yates: He is not even the other kind either. Yates sighed. Yates: However...he knpws his tuff, and you should trust him to know what he is doing. Besides...it doesn't take an advanced medical degree to flick the switch on some Covenant medical unit now does it? Meanwhile: Nighthawk looked at Jacob and shrugged. Nighthawk: Well, at least we know there are no neuters in this bunch. Nighthawk then clapped his hands together. Nighthawk: Alright ladieds...gear up, and get ready to move out. We are heading towards the Kerby Mountain Range. Grab some Warthogs, and meet out back by my Hog. You cannot miss it.

Harrison spoke before the teams left. Harrison: Good luck out there. Stay close, listen to Nighthawk...if this ONI installation is indeed rogue, I want it taken out. With extreme prejudice. Harrison paused. Harrison: Stay safe, air support will be on call if need be. Dismissed. The officers saluted Harrison and began to go their separate ways. Athios and Carmicle immediately ran off to inform Suicide Squad and get the warthogs they needed. Jacob waited for a few minutes as everyone began to clear out and get warthogs when he turned to Tye and Cameron. Jacob: Commander, Cameron...I am going to go scout ahead, move in on a mongoose and see what I can pick up from a perch. If I have permission, sir?

Tyber: Well...I don't see an issue with it...other than the fact that it is Dangerous. Do you think you can manage on your own? Nighthawk: I could always tag along. I have a scout vehicle that can keep pace with a Mongoose. I will be able to know if we are dealing with legit or rouge the moment I see it. It might be better, and easier that way. Tye looked at Nighthawk, and Jacob. Tyber: Your call Jacob...

[Kairu]

Cochraine looked at Yates and then back at Reynolds. Her anger and temper began to flare at the sarcasm. She felt that the word 'trust' was being thrown around too casually in its context. Cochraine: "If you plan to kill me, I would rather be shot dead." Reynolds pinched the bridge of his nose as they continued. Reynolds: "Look, I'm trying to help you in any way I can. Please... have a little faith?" Cochraine was still furious. She was beginning to doubt whether or not Reynolds was helping her. But as in all the other fights they had, Reynolds usually made a sound point that wasn't easily dismissed. She didn't even know why she was trying so hard not to accept aid, but she knew the circumstances until now have been less than encouraging. Meanwhile: Calhoun and Robertson excused themselves after being dismissed. A mission on a potentially rogue ONI facility was a special chance to do some extra good before the next fight. It would also help kill time until Fireteam Harmony was back at full strength. The two found the Quartermaster for the resupplies. They began reloading and refilling. Robertson didn't feel good until his belt was lined with grenades, a rocket and grenade launcher on his back, and a shotgun in his hands. Calhoun, however, liked to keep things a little more precise with a DMR/Battle Rifle combo.
