Star Trek RPG - Finalization Ideas

Alright, so after seeing the new Star Trek movie, Into Darkness, I had discussed how we have been wanting a TNO Star Trek RPG to my friend I was with. Here is his suggestion for a Star Trek RPG plot: The plot will take place in the future 25th century of the Alternate Universe of J.J. Abram's Star Trek movie series. THE SPOILER CONTAINS THE PLOT AND ENDING OF THE NEW STAR TREK MOVIE, INTO DARKNESS   Spoiler:   After Khan's incursion against the Federation and Klingons, the tensions between the Klingons and Federation have escalated and the galaxy is on the brink of war. There will be three key factions: The Federation: Centered around the Humans and their homeworld of Earth, the Federation has grown to become a massive superpower in the galaxy controlling about 45% of the known galaxy. After the destruction of Vulcan in the 23rd century, New Vulcan has flourished and has become the cultural center of the Vulcan people. Other species that have joined the Federation are Andorians, Trill, Betazeds, Caitians, among others. The Klingons: The Klingons have grown into the other superpower of the galaxy. The KDF is still governed by the feuding Houses like in the Prime Universe. By now, the Gorn, Nausicaans, Ferasans, and Orions have also joined the Klingons to defend their home and space. At the moment, the Klingon Defense Force controls approximately 35% of the galaxy. The Romulans: The Romulan Star Empire has maintained a neutral outlook to the galaxy and the Cold War between the Federation and the Klingons. They are willing to negotiate peace between the two to maintain balance and civility of the Galaxy. The Romulans control 15% of the Galaxy. The final 5% is to other factions not affiliated with the three big factions. THE BORG, DOMINION, CHANGELINGS, AND MIRROR UNIVERSE ARE FACTIONS THAT ARE OFF-LIMITS. A plot has been currently developed but due to the advancement of the story and excitement of the story, key events and other future ideas at this stage are being withheld. However, I will reveal this much: War is coming to the Galaxy.

If you want my input, The mirror Universe should be off-limits for now. We may want to play around with that idea later, as the plot thickens. Borg, should be off limits. I don't think it would be possible for The Borg to be RPed by humans.
