[Halo] New! Halo RPG Pt. 11

It wasn't the first time a grenade had landed at their feet. Stolt quickly kicked it up and away. Markovz: Hit the deck! The two dove in the opposite direction. There wasn't much time, considering the grenades had just a 3 1/2 second delay after impact. After their bodies hit the ground, they covered their heads with their hands and opened their mouths. This would protect their most vital parts to some extent and allow for equalization of pressure to keep them from blowing out their eardrums. A warmth washed over them as the grenade exploded. Luckily for them, the were designed to kill by sheer overpressure rather than shrapnel. The two collected themselves and ran into cover. Stolt: Are you okay? Markovz: Yeah. Let's hang back for a bit. He seems like he can handle himself. They checked their magazines. The one inside the M6Ds were still half full.

Lucien shook his head. He scoffed at Jacob's comment. He one pushed himself forward and slammed his forearm right into Jacob's helmet, toally smashing his visor into small bits. The forced knocked Jacob right to the ground. Lucien: So you get a few lucky hits and you think that is enough to keep me down? Lucien reached down with his left hand and grabbed Jacob by the neck, and lifted him right into the air. Lucien: I cam going to break you...bone by bone... Lucien used his right hand to once again pull Jacob's helmet off his head. Lucien looked at the Helmet, and then back at Jacob. He could see the one of Jacob's eye's had been really badly cut up from the visor shattering. Lucien then used Jacob's own helmet as a blunt weapon, as he belted Jacob's as hard as he could with his own ODST Helmet. This blow was enough to break Jacob's jaw.

[Hells Sniper]

Jacob choked in pain, but even moving his head was enough to agonize him. He began to pry at Lucien's hands. He couldn't bear the pain, so with one final movement landed a punch at Lucien's abdomen. Lucien lost his grip, and Jacob fell to the ground...blood pouring from his mouth and face.

Stolt peeked out of cover and saw several discarded MA5Cs and battle rifles lying about. Stolt: Cover me, I'll try to fetch those two weapons. Stolt ran out of cover and picked up a Marine's corpse to use as a meatshield. He kicked up the MA5C that was lying on the ground and caught it with his hand. He then slid it to Markovz along with a belt full of magazines. Markovz picked it up and fired it at Lucien's back, allowing the rifle to cycle at full auto. Stolt tried his best to run with his meatshield and pick up the discarded battle rifle a few meters away.

James started to stir a little bit. He eventually came to, but his surroundings were blurry. He tried to move, but the shattered ribs left him in a lot of pain. James: "Jacob!" He said trying to crawl towards him. Instead he slid Jacob his magnum. "Kill this asshole." James then passed out from the pain. Rewill saw James squirm, but nothing else. He wanted to say something to Aelis, but he didn't want to distract her. If she became distracted, the counter-hacker would surely succeed and in turn, the cover blown.

[Hells Sniper]

Jacob reached for the magnum, fighting past the exhaustion, pain, and overwhelming haziness. He pulled the stock back and looked at Lucien. He pulled the trigger and emptied the entire magazine at Lucien. The extra fire from Markovs helped suppress the shields and the bullets could penetrate a the armor if for only a few moments. Jacob's shots were spot on, almost on top of each other. The bullets penetrated Lucien's abdomen, the place where the armor was weakest at the moment.

[Naked Crook]

Lucien shook his head. He could feel his armor injecting him with painkillers to null his injuries. He then came under more fire from Markovz and Jacob. His shields once again took the brunt, but they were working overtime, with the constant depletion and regeneration. He then looked over to the side and saw a Trust Scorpion Tank rolling up. Black 2 was still on the gun turret, as he took aim at Stolt and Markovz, laying down suppressive fire on the two soldiers, forcing them away into cover from which they could not emerge from. Black 3 looked at Jacob on the ground, who had just emptied his clip. He saw that Jacob had actually wounded Lucien. Black 3 hopped off the tank and slammed his foot down on Jacob's arm, causing him to drop the gun before he could inflict any more harm. Black 1 opened the lid of the tank and looked at Lucien. Black 1: Sir...I see you mounted quite a body count... Lucien: You could say that... Black 1: Right now we have most of the ONI FOrces on the run. We simply overran this position with the Elite and Brute clones. FOr now...we have a direct shot at this ONI Base... Black 1 paused. Black 1: I can see you have taken a few shots. Are you still good to go? Lucien: Yeah...the biofoam will deal with my injuries in due time... Lucien grunted as the biofoam injected into his torso.

[Hells Sniper]

Jacob moaned, he looked at Black 3 and shoved his foot of his arm. He could feel the pain pulsating throughout his body, and he already felt his face swollen. His right eye was completely blacked out, and the right side of his face was extremely scarred from the visor.

[lynksys]

Stolt: Shit shit shit As the turret of the tank diced up his meatshield, he drop the remains and grabbed the battle rifle as he hurried into cover. He was covered with blood. Markovz also ducked into cover and reloaded his weapons.

[Naked Crook]

Black 3 looked down at Jacob. He laughed. Black 3: Hey boss...it's Agent Sharpmen... Black 1 hopped out of the tank and walked over to Jacob. Black 1: Well, well...looks like one of ONI's top Agents got his hass handed to him by Lucien... Black 1 shrugged. Black 1: Sucks for the Agent... Black 3: Should we...kill him? Black 1: Nah...let him suffer...better that way.... Meanwhile: Hayes was in the HQ. He could see the amount of destruction that The Trust had caused. Hayes paced around, trying to contact anyone who was with ONI that was still alive. Hayes: This is Captain Hayes...is there any ONI personnel left out there?
