As Chief Erex walks to the bridge of ship only to be stopped by an Officer sent from HIGHCOM. "Chief, Im Commander Maldex sent from GSA Command. We have a serious issue that needs to be spoken in private secured section." Erex shows him to his Office. "Being the Director of SECFORCE has its perks you know. What can I do you for?". Maldex then opens up a secure datalink to GSA Command. "Chief a pleasure to see your face to bad its under these circumstances."
FADM Darren: At approximately 22:00 hours a GSA corvette was attacked by Nevran pirates backed by the Novalan Resistance. You know who they are correct?
Erex: Of course a rogue terrorist group from Ord Seteda.
Darren: Good well they have been assaulting GSA ships all over the Beta Volran region. And Im deploying you to that sector to help put an end to the Novalan resistance. But before that you need to know more about it. Division 11 has gotten intel on them that will disgust you.
Division 11 Agent gets in on the comms.
Agent: My name is on a need to know basis.
Erex: Let me cut you off right there. I need to know because part of the Command strucruelre and you need to provide a name agent.
Agent: First of all Im fully aware of your rank and placement but division 11 doesnt report to you.
Darren: Divisiob 11 is part of SECFORCE you will give him a name.
Agent:As you wish. Im agent Colson. The Novalan resistance is a front for their terrorist acts of violence. They use the term resistance to gain support by unknowing citizens. And are told if you leave you will be assassinated. They have declared war on GSA by assaulting Corvettes. Division 11 used drone corvettes to see what the resistance will do and they played the bait. Division 11 for sometime has been waiting for a reason to destroy these terrorist but couldnt assault them until they attack GSA ships. Chief Operation Garnik is a go. You are to destroy the novalan forces with Battle group Nova. The GSA frigate Derelict has advanced electronic warfare equipment and the GSA Battleship Sonia has a gravity well generator.
Erex: Ok where we meeting up?
Colson: You will meet them at the coordinates of L04:67:89:90 They will lead you to battle. Be careful sir.
As Erex pulls out of warp in the location of the Nova Battle group he noticed this was an invasion force.
Captain Malobuck: Welcome chief always a pleasure to have someone from HIGHCOM to join us.
Erex: Always a pleasure to fight for the GSA.
Malobuck: We ready? Ensign engage the warpdrives send us to L04:36:34:34
Ensign: Aye captain.
As the fleets enter warp they were pulled into the warp rupture and sent to the planet of Ord Seteda. When they pulled out of the warp rupture they dropped out to find a fleet much larger than theirs.
Lord Nevran: You are to turn your fleets around GSA or you will face the full wrath of the Novalan Resistance.
Erex: We do not negotiate or surrender to terrorist.
Nevran: Very well. Kill them all
The resistance opened fired on the battlegroup.
Malobuck: we are taking too much damage their planetary defenses are killing us we need to pull out.
