Halo 4 DLC Thoughts By cubanpete24 The New Order Moderator So like yeah...Halo 4 has new dlc. And because I am a cheapass, I only got the armor part of this whole new dlc bundle Now I know what you all must be wondering...Is this new dlc covered in the Season Pass? Oh...wait. None of you are wondering that. Because either 1. You didn't buy the Season Pass 2. You are smart and know that Season Passes are bullshit So no...they aren't a part of the season pass, which is kind of lame, But they at least split up the dlc into smaller chunks...So that's good....? Anyway, I am just going to give my thoughts on the armor included in the armor pack. There will be pictures... I like pictures. PREFECT ARMOR So this armor is supposed to resemble forerunner tech. Which is pretty nifty. I really like the helmet, but I'm not very much a fan of the rest of the armor. I get that it's forerunner, and that it's supposed to be pointy. and shiny, but it looks really out of place on my Spartan in conjunction with other armor pieces. ODST ARMOR The ODST set is the polar opposite of the Prefect armor. The helmet sucks, but everything else is fine. This is something I would expect out of a mod for Fallout 3. The fact that the helmet is the way that it is, literally makes me want to vomit up shit. One the plus side, this set includes a pack pack, which is bitchin Mk V ARMOR aka The only reason you'd buy this dlc I adore the mk V, in all forms. The reason I liked the customization in Reach was because of the base armor essentially being the mk V. So there's my bias. 343i has taken some liberties with the established armors. Whereas the ODST helmet was a miss, the mk V has a very subtle redesign, that I absolutely love. The chunky ass back of this set has a handle. I don't even know why I like it so much. I've just never seen it before, and it works. This is hands down my favorite set, my only gripe is that the legs look a little skinny. I would also like to point out that the mk V is the ONLY set in the game...that has a codpiece... Just saying. This armor's got dick.
