The Venture Capitalist was built by the UNSC in 2538 and refitted by the Chronoworx Corporation in 2539. Experimental refit was completed in 2540. As well as testing the the stealth generators, the Venture Capitalist was also a testbed for the highly experimental Titanioum-B Battle Plate, a hull plating also used on ONI ships in the labater years. For two years, the UNSC and ONI attempted to get the ship back, but eventually gave up, declaring the ship lost. The ship has continued to serve as Nighthawk and Anaconda's personal ship, used to house all of their equipment. Before it's theft, the Venture Capitalist was commanded by the first, enigmatic, and longest serving CEO of Chronoworx, Frederick Forrest. The Frigate was given to the Chronoworx Corporation to be the refitted, to serve as a testbed for ONI technology, that was designed by ONI, and developed and constructed by the Chronoworx Corporation. The Venture Capitalist was deemed highly classified to both the UNSC and ONI, with only a handful of officers knowing the truth as to what Venture Capitalist was. It was built by ONI to start with, and then given to Chronoworx Industries to be refitted into what it is today. The Venture Capitalist was intended to be a testbed ship...designed to test my designs on a larger scale. It was essentially a proof-of-concept that the Stealth systems and other improvements could be implemented on a ship and the new designs would function as promised. Of course...everything is was on the Venture CCapitalist was my design, so of course they would work. In the grand scheme of things...I am glad that Nighthawk and Anaconda have this ship. For a very long time, the Trust had sleeper agents in ONI who would have taken the Venture Capitalist' technology and used it for their own gains. They would have been far more dangerous than they already are. Besides...Nighthawk and Anaconda put that ship to far better use than ONI would have. -Director Vernette
