You know...the staff feels the need to post a thread about this...because it doesn't seem to be enough to say it 1000 times in the shoutbox.

People are free to make RPGs on TNO...but we have seen so many of them pop up...it is becoming unreal. What makes things worse...people plan these RPGs...and they die in a few days either due to lack of interest, or derailed story.

To be frank...there are too many RPGs that are created only to fail...so I am putting my foot down on this.

People need to see how many dead/failed RPGs there are...
  1. Star Trek RPG
  2. Starwars Clone wars rpg!
  3. Survival RPG
  4. Galactic war RPG!
  5. Dragonball Z RPG
  6. Mass Effect RPG
  7. Stargate RPG
  8. Old Republic RPG
  9. New Star wars rpg!
  10. Transformers RPG
  11. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon RPG
  12. Super Mario RPG
  13. Survival: Machine Wars
It should be noted that the following RPGs were created and were killed by the staff for violating the rules set forth in the RPG Guidelines thread, specifically rule number 2
  1. Who Needs Coffee When You Have Halo?
  2. Red VS. Blue RPG
But...there are some RPGs that managed to succeed? How did they succeed? Well...in my opinion, if an RPG gets over 1500 posts...it is a success.
  1. Hair of the Dog RPG
  2. Starwars RPG
But seriously...Like...13 failed RPGs...

We have updated the RPG Guidelines thread and added Rule 7. Please review this thread before creating any more RPGs.

For everyone entertainment, I will keep the failed list updated (heaven forbid)...

I should mention...that Rabbits Star Wars RPG was considered a success. I will edit the first post and add a section of currnelty thriving RPGs
