It serves as the personal sidearm of Subject Delta. As opposed to the standard Type-25 Spike Rifle, the Type-25-X Spike Rifle is capable of a much faster rate of fire and a far greater effective range. Additionally, the recoil is dampened using a form of gravity technology called recoil dampners. Only two of these guns are known to exist at any time, both belonging to, and being used by, Delta. Delta can be seen dual weilding this weapon at any time he is not using his hammer. This weapon is the successor to Anaconda's Spiker, implementing, and improving upon, the same technology in the construction. The weapon sports a very stylish semi-matte black finish, with a slight polish. The recoil dampners on the weapon reduce recoil by up to 90% thus allowing this weapon to be fired off in rapid succession. The weapon is also capable of a faster rate of fire and the modified barrel improves the effective range of the weapon. The blades on this weapon have been replaced with a very durable, and ultra sharp variant of the standard blades. Additionally, they are also superheated. They can presumably cut right through Power Armor.
