The Trust Syndicate
The Trust Syndicate started as a formation of powerful and influential business men and military officials just before the start of the Jovian Moons Campaign of 2160. The Trust Syndicate's primary directive was to ensure that the Western ideals of capitalism and free enterprise prosper and out-live all communist and socialist ideologies, specifically the ones brought forth by the Koslovic Supporters and Frieden Movements. In order to do facilitate this goal, The Trust was to see that proper financial and military support was given to the UN in the form of controlling important banking and military institutions, as well as large private corporate enterprises. It was because of this approach that The Trust evolved over the years to believe that it MUST control every facet of Human society in order to carry out their mission. This had further evolved into the ideal that has come to be interpreted as the survival of the Human race, at any cost, without regard for ethical and moral repercussions. In the modern era, The Trust is little more than a highly manipulative cabal of Human society, which has proven time and again to be entirely self-interested, motivated by the singular will to dominate Human civilization. Since the advent of The Human-Covenant War, The Trust has firmly believed that only they can defeat The Covenant, and any other threat that presents itself to Humanity. The Trust's primary tactics involve infiltration and manipulation of social and professional institutions to advance their own Agenda. From their acquisition of influential business moguls, to the placement of Trust operatives into high ranking military positions, The Trust has a finely tuned their abilities in order to manipulate their way to power. During the Human-Covenant war, with all political and decision-making authority being absorbed by the UNSC, The Trust had singularly focused their efforts on infiltrating numerous military branches, including the highly reclusive and secretive ONI Section 0, and engaged in countless operations to, both, combat The Covenant, and further their stranglehold on Human affairs. THis activity went on largly unnoticed and above the observation of the rest of the UNSC for a majority of the war. However, in 2540, The Trust faced total exposure of their existence and agenda, and since then, have been classified as a terrorist organization, which continues to pose a threat to, both, the security of Humanity and the integrity and legitimacy of military operations.

The Trust Syndicate Divisions
The Trust Syndicate is divided into several branches, each that deal with separate aspects of the overall organization to facilitate continued operation. The four major branches of The Trust include The Board of Chairmen, Division 7, and the Armed Services.
The Board of Chairmen
The Board of Chairmen is the leadership division of The Trust. All centralized command decisions originate from The Board of Chairmen. Due to the elusive nature of The Trust, members of The Board of Chairmen are rarely seen or are rarely discovered. It is because of this, crippling the Leadership of The Trust has proven to be a very ineffectual tactic. Members of The Board of Chairmen tend to be individuals who wield large degrees of power, control, and/or respect. Chairmen who have such leverage will often abuse said leverage to great affect to advance the goals of The Trust. Throughout the years, there have been many members of The Board of Chairmen, from military officers, to civilians - each with something of substantive value to offer The Trust in their ongoing operations. Despite the vital importance of The Board of Chairmen, The Trust is capable of operating without direction from The Board for prolonged periods of time, if necessary. However, among Trust operatives, the chain of command is quite clear and obvious, so any disruptions to The Board of Chairmen can be quickly rectified if need be.
Division 7
Division 7 is the primary Special Operations and Research and Development branch of The Trust. All of the biggest and most sophisticated battlefield technology is developed by Division 7 R&D. Division 7 is one of the newer branches of The Trust. However, despite that fact, it has quickly become one of the most important branches of the entire organization to date. In its endeavors, Division 7 tends to be highly specialized in everything that it does, from weapons research, to special operations and applications. Division 7 tends to recruit the brightest individuals and the most skill operatives to assist in its ongoing operations. Division operatives tend to be very short tempered and reculsive, even towards other members of The Trust. As a result of this, Division 7 operatives are seen with a high-degree of mistrust from the rest of the organization.
Armed Services
The armed services of The Trust is comprised mostly of Marines and ODSTs that have been recruited into the service of The Trust. These are typically normal soldiers, who have undergone a degree of augmentation, typically in the form of illegal Spartan I augmentation, and special training. Trust marines and Trust ODSTs are widely considered to be far more skilled and deadly than their UNSC or ONI counterparts.
The Risk Takers
The Risk Takers is a group of Spartans, organized by The Board of Chairmen, that have charged with the primary directive of engaging, and eliminating Nighthawk and Anaconda. The Risk Takers are composed of Spartan IIIs and Class 0 Spartan IIs. Each member of The Risk Takers are specifically trained to counter any and all tactics utilized by Nighthawk and Anaconda. Due to the high priority of the Risk Taker's objective, they are frequently given much leverage to utilize any tactics, manpower, and resources they deem necessary, without consequences.

ODST Black Team
ODST Black Team was formed in the year 2515 by Robert Novak and Constantine Spender, under the premise of creating highly effective and dangerously enhanced soldiers to carry out missions of critical importance to The Trust. ODST Black Team is widely considered the most dangerous and verstile team of soldiers currently in service to The Trust. On multiple occasions, they have proven unwavering loyalty to The Trust and a terrifying commitment to the objectives of The Trust, despite the obvious immoral reprocussions of what was being done. The naming convention of ODST Black Team operatives all follow a sequential numbering system, prefixed by the word "Black".

ODST Nova Team
ODST Nova Team, while also members of The Trust, have taken on the reputation of being ODST Black Team's personal rivals in The Trust. Nova Team was formed in the end of 2539, shortly after the Battle of Genesis. Little is known about ODST Nova Team, aside from the fact that their naming convention seems to imitate that of Egyptian Mythology, as opposed to going with a numbered scheme, much like ODST Black Team does. The reasons for using Egyptian mythology as a naming convention remain a mystery, even to members of The Trust. It is speculated that "The Consultant" - the officer who spearheads Division 7 operations, specifically chose this naming scheme due to the mysterious nature of Egyptian deities. Additionally, unlike ODST Black Team, ODST Nova Team reports directly to The Consultant and Division 7, as opposed to Spender or The Board of Chairmen. It is speculated that ODST Nova Team holds more loyalty to The Consultant than any other member of The Trust.
