Forces of Corruption Help

I am having an issue with a Galactic Conquest map for Empire at War: Forces of Corruption. It appears that after I made a custom GC map, the heros are not spawning accept the Rebel's tech advancement unit. Any suggestions?

Check to see if the home world is set for each faction.

Well for the two playable factions, they are. Cuz I took out the Pirates, leaving the Empire and Rebels in play. Should I have not done that and add the homeworld back in for the Pirates?

Well...if you are editing for FoC, then I assume you are editing an xml files called "Campaigns_underworld_gc.xml" there are a few tags which define the hero starting locations: <Home_Location> Rebel, Hoth </Home_Location> <Home_Location> Empire, Coruscant </Home_Location> <Home_Location> Underworld, Kamino </Home_Location> this tells the game where to spawn your heroes. Check to see if your GC campaigns have these.

Yea I have all three and it's still not working. Hmm, does there also need to be an AI script for the Underworld too, in both sides, though the Underworld being unplayable? *New* Umm, I didn't add the homeworld tag to the campaign I played... So yea, I'm now dumb. I edited it for the rebels and not the empire, and decide to play as the Emps. Hmm...

if you just deleted the pirates, I would doubt that would have an effect. My best advice would be to start from scratch as I have very little idea how you edited your GC xml. This time, do one thing at a time, and if your heroes stop spawning, then you will have know what caused it. Edit then test. If you still have problems, I guess I can take a look ASAP.

Ok, I'm just gonna start all over, since I am doing this without the XML editor. So I will redo this again. *Edit* Could it be in the Gameconstants or a game file like that? Where the scripts have to be initiated somewhere else?

my advice, get notepad++ before you do anything. Game constants is mostly for static variables. Nothing gets initialized there. For GaW I have worked on a few GC related maps, and I have never had any issues with heroes spawning, nor have I needed to work with the gameconstants.xml
