Who should be the 12th Doctor

As you all know, I was gone for like...a couple months. In that time, I got into many things. Things like tennis, crack cocaine, and the art of popping straws. But another thing I got into...was Doctor Who. Shut up. Anyway, Matt Smith is stepping down as the Eleventh Doctor, which means, if my math is correct, that there is an opening, for a Twelfth Doctor. Assuming we live in a perfect world, who do you think would be the best man, or woman, to be the twelfth doctor. You don't even need to watch, or like Doctor Who. Your list can be as improbable as you want it to be. Here is my 12th Doctor wishlist.

Simon Pegg Rupert Grint Or....... Tennant.... again. On a side note, according to Moffat, a Timelord is still adhering to the "12 regenerations allowed" rule, which means this one is the last. I say last because if you haven't seen the most recent season finale, they revealed a "skipped" Doctor who is the real Ninth. That makes Eccleston 10, Tennant 11, and Smith 12. So we're looking for 13.

That's weird. That would mean there can't be a new Doctor... Unless, there's ANOTHER timelord out there....or something. I don't know, I'm just saying, you can't have Doctor Who without a "Doctor"

Yeah, I dunno. Moffat may try to find a way to get a "loophole" out of the rule. Davies instated the rule, then retconned it since the Timelords had "vanished", so in a sense, the laws no longer apply. But now Moffat is retconning the retcon.

Anyway, retcon or no new retcon, I'm still getting a kick out of this. I've been watching a lot of Arrested Development, and it got me thinking. Ben Stiller as a straight magician who is pretending to be gay, but is actually gay A woman doctor, breaking new ground, and, an excuse for the Tardis to have a bar. Another down to earth, soldier type doctor.
