“We've been ambushed Lieutenant! It seems, based on the gunfire I am hearing, that they expected us!” Jade called out, heading towards the location of the door with her team following behind her. Ordering her team to keep up their guard, Jade rushed forward to provide back up and a way of retreat for the 4 ODSTs ahead of her. Norton, blinded by the light, let out a gasp of pain as he felt bullets riddle his body. He heard the sounds of bodies dropping and he knew that Conner and Rick had fallen. With the last ounce of his strength, he turned and shoved Cromwell with his body, sending the lieutenant out of the door way and into the corner. Norton smiled as he fell to the ground, regretting nothing.
