Tye and Cameron turned to look at Harrison. Both men gave a salute. Tyber: Admiral... Cameron remained silent. Jennifer saluted after Tye and Cameron did. Jennifer: Welcome aboard Admiral. Jennifer lowered her hand back to her side. Jennifer: I have yet to touch base with Captain Reynolds. I was about to contact him and invite him here for a debrief. Jennifer stepped back. Jennifer: Excuse me. Jennifer turned, as she walked towards the front of the bridge to contact Reynolds. Tye and Cameron continued to look at Harrison. Tyber: Any word from the other fronts admiral? I would imagine that we are still in a struggle with The Covenant, despite the ongoing troubles with The Trust. Cameron: Have you heard anything else? As Tye and Cameron spoke to Harrison, Jennifer had opened a comm line to the Mind's Attrition. Jennifer: Mind's Attrition...this is Captain Frost - King Raven. I request to be patched through to Captain Reynolds...priority one. Meanwhile: Aboard The Ulterior Motive, Black Team and Jacob were still conversing. Black 1 nodded to Jacob in full agreement. Black 1: I heard reports that he had enlisted the help of The Covenant against The Risk Takers. Personally...I have no clue how he managed that. They must be associates of The Brute...or The Brute mediated some sort of agreement... Black 4 laughed. Black 4: I have never heard the words "Brute" and "mediate" used in the same sentence before. What a fascinating experience that was. Black 1 shrugged. Black 1: It is no laughing matter. Nighthawk is connected. He has allies on both sides of this war. That is very troubling. Elites tend to be very capable warriors...and Brutes tend to move in packs. Nighthawk definatly could create numbers to balance out any fight with The Risk Takers. Black 2: I honestly think there is a catch to it. I seriously doubt Nighthawk is the great peacemaker that can unite people to fight his enemies. We are missing facts. Until we have all the facts...all we know is that Nighthawk has Covenant help and The Brute is the key to that help. Black 1 nodded. Black 1: We should go and talk to Spender. The sooner, the better. Common guys...let's get a move on. Black 1 gestured his head, telling Black Team and Jacob to follow him up to the bridge. Meanwhile: The Phantom that Xyrho and Vhat had been flying in was on its final approach towards The Perilus Avenger. Xyrho could hear the pilot requesting the docking clearance, and getting a snarky response in return. Xyrho rolled his eyes, growing weary of the petty feuding between the two races. However, it was not long before the Phantom had landed, and was settle inside of The Perilus Avenger. Xyrho: Come on Vhat...the Fleetmaster awaits us. Xyrho and Vhat exited the Phantom, and began to make their way up to the bridge. It took the two Elites several minutes to move through the corridors of the large vessel, eventually reaching on of the main gravity lifts. Both Xyrho and Vhat took the gravity lift to the main level, exiting not far from the command deck. Xyrho and Vhat once again moved through the corridors, eventually closing in on the war room.
