Aboard the Mind's Attrition, Reynolds had been sitting in his office. He was going through personnel files and cross-referencing them with the soldiers he's already lost and preparing letters to the families of the deceased. Cochraine had continued to work out on the bridge of the ship, organizing and coordinating her efforts with the deployed ground teams as she, and Reynolds, awaited orders from Admiral Harrison. As time continued to pass by, Reynolds' letters began to fill his outbox. In the back of his mind, he couldn't help but notice a nagging feeling like the Trust has been actively working on something for the past couple hours and he was keen to know what's going on so he could plan and brace ahead for it. Reynolds knew that requesting knowledge to the Trust would heighten suspicions and would likely turn the gaze of both the UNSC/ONI brass and Trust brass. Instead, he simply continued the letters, doing everything he could to keep his mind off of the Trust.
