[Naked Crook]

Burke nodded. Burke: Understood sir. Burke out. Burke closed the comm line. He sighed in relief, glad that his justifications for the delay were taken at face value. Meanwhile: Black 1 laughed. Black 1: That is something all Humans can get behind. However...there is more to it. The Trust is about power. It is about control. How can you steer Human destiny if your hands are not on the controls? Black 1 paused. Black 1: The Trust does what the rest of mankind is scared to do. Our methods are what set us apart. Our methods tend to be brutal, viscious, and meticulous. However...these methods are why we are far more effective at fighting The Covenant than the UNSC is. It is because of our methods...that The Trust has made the single greatest discovery in the history of our brief existence. Black 1 paused. Black 1: Let me put it this way Jacob...if The Trust gets what it is looking for, here, at San Angeles...we will defeat The Covenant. It will be a categorical victory. Black 1 stopped. Black 1: If you think The Covenant are technologically advanced...well...lets just say that both Humanity and The Covenant sit at the same Galactic kiddies table. Black 1 looked at Jacob. Black 1: I am not Yates. I am not Kolya. I am not Novak, or Spender. I am very much like you...a soldier. I would lay down my life ten thpusand times over to see Humanity win this war. The Trust is close. We are so close. However...if we continue to see interference the likes of which Nighthawk and Anaconda have directed thd UNSC into doing...the words "so close" will be carved into every humsn tombstone. What is victory worth to you? Meanwhile: Novak looked at the Risk Takes. Novak: I have been expecting all of you. I wanted to check up on all of you. I heard Nighthawk broke out a new toy to fight you with?
