Jennifer nodded, and she eased herself.
Jennifer: Well...things are pretty rough. We have 179 injured - 37 of them critcally. We have confirmed 58 marines KIA or DOA due to complications of their injuries. All of the Marines and ODSTs who are still combat ready are, realistically, in no shape to be fighting. There is not a single person down here who is not injured, myself included. In fact, it was at a point that if you can stand, and you can fire a weapon...you were fit enough to be on the lines.
Jennifer paused.
Jennifer: You cannot imagine what it is like being forced to tell someone who took a spiker slug through their arm to get back on the front lines only seconds after pulling it out. There is a God-damn hole in their arm, and I am forced to send them back for active service.
Jennifer paused.again.
Jennifer: To be blunt sir...things could be going WAY better.
Meanwhile:
Xyrho's Phantom had docked in the hanger bay of The Perilus Avenger. The moment Xyrho hopped out of hiss Phantom, onto the hanger bay flood, he immediately heard the sounds of growls and snarls from across the hanger bay.
Xyrho: How welcoming...
Xyrho payed no further attention to the greeting he got. He simply did as instructed, and proceeded to Dangerus' command room. Upon his arrival, he walked in, and he could see both Dangerus and Furium, though he was unaware of who Furium was. Despite this, Xyrho walked forward, towards both Brutes.
Xyrho: Chieftain Dangerus...it is my understanding that you summoned me. As you requested, here I am. What do you need?
