Anaconda kept a stone faced composure, as his eye's shifted to Furium's hammer that was on the ground. He watched as Furium inched closer and closer to it. However, Anaconda was not going to simply let Furium reclaim his weapon. Instead, Anaconda charged, and slammed his Hammer down in between Furium and Furium's Gravity Hammer. The blast tossed the Gravity Hammer to the other side of the roof, and repelled Furium back in the opposite direction, away from the Hammer.

Anaconda: You don't HONESTLY think I am going to let you have your weapon? No...no...no...I would much rather keep you unarmed. It makes my job SO much simpler.

Anaconda circled around Furium, his guard up. He was less intent on killing Furium at the moment, and more intent on keeping the War Chieftain busy.

Nighthawk, on the other hand, had his Magnum in his left hand, and his PDA in his right hand.

Nighthawk: HAWK...I need a remote start on the Vulture...and I need it at this position. We need air support.

HAWK: I do not think that is very advisable. The Vulture's munition supply is dangerously low. The Vulture has all but used up its air to air missiles. Air to surface missiles are low. While the main cannons are still loaded, they would prove to be highly ineffective against a rapid ariel assault from a Banshee.

Nighthawk: HAWK...there is very little choice in the matter...

HAWK: I disagree. There is an alternative...

Nighthawk: Such as?

HAWK: The Venture Capitalist IS capable of an ELO descent. It has been rated for Atmosphere. The main deck guns posses the targeting precision for the necessary air support that you would require.

Nighthawk had not considered this possibility.

Nighthawk: What about Banshees or other support crafts?

HAWK: A Banshee is no match for a Frigate. Even a Phantom would get shot down before it even got close.

Nighthawk: Other Covenant ships. The last thing we need is a Corvette engaging the Venture Capitalist.

HAWK: The Covenant has been unable to detect The Venture Capitalist. If we do detect a Covenant Corvette on a descent trajectory in an effort to engage a ship they cannot see with their targeting sensors, it would be very easy for the Venture Capitalist to bug out and return to orbit.

Nighthawk: Would it be possible to position the Venture Capitalist to allow for optimal firing solutions against The Covenant?

HAWK: Yes, it can be done. Even if I ran a single attack run against Covenant Forces on the ground, I could decimate a large majority of their forces, without even firing a shot CLOSE to the UNSC Line.

Nighthawk nodded.

Nighthawk: I'm sold. HAWK...make it happen. Prepare for descent trajectory...

Nighthawk paused.

Nighthawk: Perform ONE attack run! I need you to hit the Covenant hard enough down here to make them think twice about advancing any further. However...I will need you on standby for a second run.

HAWK: Understood. Beginning descent...now. ETA...1 minute till combat zone.

Meanwhile:

Tye began to run forward. He ran into the combat zone, both of his SMGs in hand as he moved forward. Tye was quickly approaching Jacob's position. Tye had heard the call from Sergai about the warning about the Sniper. Right away, Tye had his eyes up, and his VISR managed to spot the Jackal sitting on one of the rooftops that was not too far away. As Tye ran, he slowed down, and holstered both of hi9s SMGs, and grabbed one of his automags from their holster. Tye kept his eye on the sniper, and at the last second twisted his body to the side to avoid the beam rifle slug.

Tye knew that a second slug was coming for him, so he immediately rolled forward, evading the second slug. Tye knew that the rate at which the Jackal had fired the two slugs that he was no doubt in cool down. This gave Tye the few seconds he needed, to get back to one knee, take aim upwards at the jackal with his Automag...and fire.

Tye fired one bullet, and nailed the Jackal square in the head - a shot of over 375 feet, or roughly 125 yards.

Tye scoffed at the Jackal, and then shook his head. As he did, he got back to his feet, and converged on Jacob's location.

It was not long before Tye took up position near Jacob.

Tyber: I would ask for a situastion report...but I can guess what you are going to say; Covenant advancing, we are pushing back, not making much progress, slowly losing ground, situation unattainable, defeat is inevitable.

Tye paused.

Tyber: Is that ballpark guess correct?

Meanwhile:

Cameron and Voro were still exchanging blows. Both combatants were locking in a dual, with neither giving very much ground. Both Cameron and Voro seemed very capable of matching each others physical strength. However, Cameron did have the edge on agility, while Voro had the edge on weaponry.

Cameron had all but exhausted the ammo on his Assault Rifle, trying to keep Voro's shields down. Voro, on the other hand, was pushing himself, despite his injuries. There was a definite tug of war between the two that had no clear ending in sight. The fighting became so intense, that both Cameron and Voro had pushed each other back, far out of sight of either the UNSC or The Covenant. As far as both sides were concerned, these two were no longer even on the field of battle, as they had, more or less, let their fighting spill into a secluded alleyway that was a good distance away from the main battle.

The two looked at each other. Voro was showing clear signs of fatigue, which was indiciated by his heavy breathing, while Cameron was like a rock, totally unmoving, and invisible when it came to his physical state. He was as calm and collected as he was when the fighting first started.

Voro: I must admit...you are a worthy foe. It is not often I find someone who I can match my skills against. It is a shame that you are of the filth...otherwise...you would go far with your skill.

Cameron didn't respond with words. He did, however, draw his combat knife, and held it in a CQC pose.

Voro: And this one says he is not a swordsman.

Cameron didn't reply.

Voro: Yet his tongue is paralyzed in fear. For shame...

Voro charged at Cameron once again, and the fighting continued.
