Fireteam Harmony's phantom continued flying downwards, closing in on the city of Carver. From their height and angle, everyone on board watched the fighting for the spaceport. The phantom was now increasing so fast in velocity that altering it would be virtually impossible. The phantom sped through the sky leaving a trail of black smoke, marking the angle and trajectory to its point of impact. The phantom soon found itself about to dive through a large building on a quieter part of the city. Arman had radioed apprising Reynolds of the update and their inevitable fate. Arman: "Captain, we've escaped on a phantom and plummeting towards the planet. Mission successful. We lost Staff Sergeant Sierra on board, but we picked up Calhoun from Fireteam Zanzibar. Make our victory count Sir." The phantom collided with the building. Most of the phantom's hull absorbed the damage, allowing the spacecraft to plow through the first building causing it to collapse from the weight. The phantom continued to plow through another building, effectively destroying that one too. The friction and resistance of force quickly slowed down the phantom for the third building to stop the craft. Fireteam Harmony had finally crashed at the farther end of Carver.
