[Naked Crook]

Nighthawk groaned as he hit the ground, and followed up with a cough as he got his wind back. He could hear the gunfire above him. It was his instinct, combined with how familiar he was with the Brute fighting style, that allowed him to gather up his strength and roll out of the way of Furium's blade. Nighthawk rushed back to his feet, standing roughly 7 feet from Furium. Nighthawk: I would take it as a compliment that I am known in the Covenant Empire...but...you guys are not the kind of fans I am looking for. As Nighthawk said this, he reached to his side, and pulled out both of his Magnums, and opened fire on Furium. The large 50 caliber incendiary rounds of his Magnums hit Furium's energy shields hard, but he did not faze Furium. Due to the fact that Nighthawk had fired his Magnums off in rapid success, it only took a moment for his clips to run dry. Nighthawk knew that he needed a few seconds to reload, so he did what he did best to buy himself the time he needed...he talked. Nighthawk: You say you have heard stories of me. I find that hard to believe. At the very least...you have not heard the right things. Why don't you put the Hammer down, and cool your jets...and we can talk about this...mono to Brute. You would be surprised how well I can carry a conversation... Meanwhile: Burke sighed as he heard Harrison respond. Burke: Admiral...I believe I have a way to weaken the Covenant fleet...but there is going to be a heavy price on this one. The Covenant Assault Carrier that my ODSTs managed to board is currently in the process of having it's main power reactors rigged to explode. I estimate no more than 45 seconds until the total destruction of that ship, and the surrounding support vessels. I believe if we time our attack with the destruction of that ship...we COULD possibly force the Covenant to fall back, at least to for a short while while they group their battle lines. Burke paused. Burke: However...the trade off is the fact that I am ordering my entire boarding party to their deaths. At the very least...I want their lives to count for something...I want it to count for something we can call a victory. Burke paused again. Burke: I believe that if we push forward with everything we have at the right moment...we can take this battle. All I am asking is that we try.
