Yates fought to regain control of his Pelican. He eventually managed to get it back under control, and resume his course away from the combat zone. However, without his Stealth, he knew that getting out alive was going to be tough.

Yates looked over at the comm system, and he contacted the Ulterior Motive on its encrypted channel.

Yates: Ulterior Motive...this is Deputy Director Yates. I am in a UNSC Pelican, flying away from the combat zone. I have lost my stealth systems...and...

Yates paused. He looked at one of the screens that said MISSILE LOCK DETECTED

Yates: I have a weapons lock on me. I don't know if I will be able to outrun those Archer missiles. I need immediate assistance.

After a moment, Yates got a reply.

Spender: Yates...what did you do? How did you get yourself into that mess?

Yates: Harrison is an asshole...that's how!

Spender: Hmmm...I see...

Spender could be heard sighing over the comm.

Spender: Alright...sit tight. We will come and save you.

Yates: Just watch out. THis is a live combat zone. If anything impacts the Ulterior Motive while its Stealth Systems are engaged...it could disrupt your Stealth and reveal you to sensors.

Spender: Understood...

With that, The Ulterior Motive began to move forward at full speed, heading right to the combat zone. Yates, on the other hand, could see the Archer missiles that were locked on him, closing in fast. The Pelican computers estimated roughly 25 seconds until impact, provided Yates kept his speed at current velocity.

Meanwhile:

Tye had take up position on the east side of the Spaceport, guarding one of the smaller side roads that led towards the Spaceport. When Tye heard Jacob call out that brutes were closing in, he readied himself, because he knew that in no time at all, that he would be under heavy fire.

Tyber: THis is COmmander Vernette...I am still clear on my side...but I do not know how much longer that will last. Hopefully The Covenant comes right down our kill zone down the middle.

Meanwhile:

Nighthawk, who was still working on Dangerus' Phantom, had finally made some progress. He had finally managed to remove the memory bank from the Phantom's main computer.

Nighthawk: Got it...

Nighthawk held the small device in his hand, as he sat up, and jumped out of the Phantom, heading back to his Vulture, running as fast as he could. As Nighthawk ran, he contacted HAWK.

Nighthawk: HAWK...I managed to get my hands on a Covenant memory bank. I need you to find the right cipher to get us on the Covenant BattleNet.

HAWK: In order to do that...I need you to interface the memory bank with the Vulture's on-board uplink. Standing by for connection...

Nighthawk nodded as he stepped back onto his Vulture, and walked into the cockpit. He sat down at one of the support stations in the cockpit, as he hooked the memory bank into the Vulture's computer.

Nighthawk: Alright...I got it...go...

HAWK: Negotiation failure...unable to connect...

Nighthawk scoffed.

Nighthawk: What? Explain!

HAWK: Error code 5581996

Nighthawk: That tells me nothing! HAWK...this is plug and play...common!

HAWK: Negotiation failure...unable to connect...

Nighthawk rolled his eyes. He loaded up the Vulture's operating system as he started to check it over for anything that might be causing the problem.

Nighthawk: Hold on...let me find the problem. It has to be on my end...
