[Naked Crook]

The Ven'tek shook as it took direct hits from the Heart of Aenar. One of the Operations Officers began to speak. KDF Operations Officer: General...port shields are down to 80% The Federation ship is hitting is with much harder blasts. Their current power levels suggest that they have all power to their weapons array. S'kaelz: Compensate by transferring shields from Starboard. S'kaelz looked at his tactical officer. S'kaelz: Continue firing. Maintain a target lock on their warp core. All we need is one shot in order to take that ship offline. S'kaelz then looked at his helm officer. S'kaelz: helm...attack pattern Omega. Bring us within 3 Km of their aft, and get us out of their broadside. KDF Helm officer: Yes, General. The Ven'tek began to close in on the Heart of Aenar, eventually getting enough speed to maneuver out of the broadside of the Federation Flagship. The Ven'tek continued it's barrage, with the warp core being the primary target. The Ven'tek's port broadside was facing the aft of the Heart of Aenar, hitting the aft shields with rapid bursts from the Antiproton beam arrays.
