It wasn't long until the lines of ships became a giant sphere of chaos. Ships of various shapes and sizes were mixed with each other in an epic struggle for survival. At the core of that sphere, was th'Zarath and the USS Heart of the Aenar, the largest Federation ship to date and the flagship of the entire fleet. * Dickerson: "Another hit, aft shields at 83 percent!" * th'Zarath: "Target their starboard nacelle, fire at will, Ensign." * The Aenar fired another volley of phaser beams at a Klingon Vor'cha warship, IKS Va'tak. The Va'tak's shields took all of the hits from the phaser beams. The Aenar fired another volley the last couple hits blasting the plasma chamber open. * Dickerson: "They're leaking plasma, I suggest we move off and leave them. They're helpless and main power is going offline." * th'Zarath: "Fire a spread of quantum torpedoes at them, destroy that ship." * Everyone on board the Heart of the Aenar watched the viewscreen show three quantum torpedoes travel at the Va'tak, causing an immediate explosion of the ship, destroying it. The bridge remained silent as no one fired on the ship. Dickerson then looked at his console. * Dickerson: "Admiral, the Aquarius is asking for assistance. They have three bird of preys on them and they're taking hits from all sides * The Aenar rocked violently as a barrage of torpedoes was fired at the Federation's flagship. * th'Zarath: "Report!" * Dickerson: "The Starbase is firing on us. I would assume Klingons have overpowered the station's command deck and are salvaging the starbase as a means to turn the battle. * Another barrage hit the Aenar, causing more powerful shakes. * Dickerson: "Shields are down to 19 percent. Another barrage and shields will be down!" * th'Zarath: "Target the starbase's Ops. Fire quantum torpedoes, full spread." * Six white, pearly looking spheres sped towards the top of the spacestation, slowly gaining distance between each other until they blew a hole in the hull. * th'Zarath: "Get me, Pa'aleia. I think it's time to pull her teams out now."
