These ships come in squadrons of 5 and are the most common found onboard Capital ships. These are the fastest fighter class and deal enough damage to take on a Scout Ship over 120 meters longer than itself. They are light enough to be transported and small enough to be in large amounts. They are stored in racks on the walls of a hangar, while the Heavier craft such as Bombers, Heavy Bombers and Ion Bombers are stored on the deck floor. Bomber Length: 18 meters Width: 12 meters Crew: 2 Pilots Squad Size: 5 Weapons: 1 x Nose Laser cannon 2 x Missile Salvos The Bomber is designed specifically to hit and destroy unshielded targets and lightly shielded targets with their long range Missiles that strike fear in corvettes and Destroyers. These ships are much slower than their lighter counterpart the Fighter due to the amount of ordance being transported. They carry nearly 250,000 pounds of ordance in their wings, requiring a hive frame to ensure they don't buckle under the weight in a gravity field. Heavy Bomber Length: 39 meters Width: 20 meters Armament: 2 x Heavy Plasma Cannons Speed: 250 m/s Crew: 4 The Heavy Bomber as its name suggest is actually designed to strike at heavily shielded targets with close range and deadly precision. These fighter squads can take a beating like no other, and have far more deadly results than their other bomber family even without shields they still strike fear in the hearts of lightly shielded vessels and are extremely good at striking at the Cruiser/Heavy cruisers.
