Meanwhile:
Caesar II was sitting in the overseer office in Vault 92. He was going through some of the latest scouting reports and updated maps.
The Brotherhood had not found the remains of their former teammate, nor Caesar II's new banner.
Caesar II sighed, as he brushed the papers aside and grabbed one of the Pre-War books in the Vault. It was a book about Caesar himself, a book about his conquests, his strategies, his rise to power. Caesar II understood all of this, how he made it there, how he became the Emperor of Rome.
Yet, Julius Caesar never had to betray his father to make it to the throne.
But Caesar II would have to. He would have to betray his father, either killing him, or allowing him to survive by handing over his legion. It would take him months, even years. But Caesar II would do it, even if it took him until the Second Battle of Hoover Dam, even if it took him to conquer the entire DC area.
Caesar II would bring honor to the Legion.
Even if it cost him his father's life.
