Those are viable options Kairu, but also options of last resort.

If his system is freezing, chances are it is a bad driver. If he is not installing the correct drivers, then that will cause freezing. Even installing a driver from a similar laptop from the same series constitutes a bad driver.

I need to know where these drivers came from, and what the model number is.
