Hmm, I'm not quite sure about this, to be honest. I would rather not have something so... "elitist"? I mean, the Borg are meant to be undefeatable by normal means and captains. The only reason Picard and the longer lasting crew members have defeated the Borg is because of their resolve and later, their prior experiences at Wolf 359. Even Worf who was commanding the Defiant at the time (and former crew member of the Enterprise) wasn't fairing well against the Borg Cube in the Sol System. As for the STO aspect, there's one thing they do not include... it's the COUNTLESS planets and worlds that have been named in the canon. STO doesn't even have Bolarius IX. It's mentioned and there's doff assignments for like "Asylum on Bolerius IX". But you can't visit it because it doesn't really exist. I do like the idea of staying true to STO though, it does allow a sort of level for Cubifications and slight variations. I think the Borg would be more of a sub-plot/special story arc for the RP as the fact that they're meant to be Godly.

As for taking precedence, there is not meant to be competition between the two. If I recall correctly, there are allowed up to two sub-RPs going on at any one time. So they'd both be active.

In addition, how would this work out? One crew and ship, or multiple ships in a single fleet, or just random ships just from all over?
