[Hells Sniper]

Asher was writing letters to families of ONI marines who had recently left to join their new government. He had since taken over military operations and tried his best to keep everything under control. An Aurigaen official walked into his office. Official: Asher, ONI has sent another batch out. Asher: Have they? Official: Yes, another twelve Aurigaens off to the "New World." Asher nodded. The "New World" was what all the Aurigaens were calling space and open access to go there. There was a rift between the people of Aurigae VI, those who held firm and stayed, and those who had the balls to leave their home world. Even the government was divided, as Asher was devoted to the cause of ONI, and Thomas wanted to stay away from their business. Asher tried his best every day to handle the matters of both the government of Aurigae VI and ONI. Asher: Good luck to them. Continue with civilian matters. I am going to check with ONI officials down here. The Official nodded and left the room. After a few minutes Asher left his office. The changes that were made to Aurigae since ONI takeover were...to say the least, drastic. New technology overwhelmed the entire "Town Hall." Datapads were everywhere, holographic equipment was moved in, people were always on some type of technological device. It helped move things smoother and more efficiently, but took a bit of a time to get used to. For most of the Aurigaens in government, they nailed it within the first week. The civilians had a longer adjustment time as their homes and towns were integrated into this new way of life. Asher embraced it all and loved every second of it.
