Tyber: Check it out...I have never seen that classification of soldier before... Vernette looked at the Brutes. Vernette: Neither have I...but they look a lot like the Covenant-era Honor Guards...a positioned filled by the Elites. Cameron: SO you are saying that those guys are charged with guarding this building? Vernette: That...and possibly Delta himself. They may be his personal guards. Why Delta, of all people, would need personal guards...is utterly beyond me. Vernette shrugged. Vernette: Perhaps they are there to protect other people from Delta...and just sticking with Delta is the best way to do it... The Honor guards watched as Vernette's entourage walked. They Honor Guards their heads and followed Vernette as he led the others. It was not long before Delta could be seen sitting on a large stone Throne. He was listening to other Chieftains talking about the current situation with the Elites. THe group stopped in their tracks and looked at each other. Tyber: He sounds busy... Vernette: Well...we can wait... Vernette shrugged. Vernette: Or not... Just as they were about to resume walking, the Honor Guards stepped in the way and stopped Vernette. One of the Brutes placed his hand out, using his palm to Stop Vernette. The Brute's palm impacted Vernette's chest. Cameron stepped forward and pushed the Brute's hand away. Cameron then glared at the Brute Honor Guard. Cameron: Keep your hands to yourself... Cerberus looked at Cameron, then back at Vernette. Cerberus: Do not go any further until you are summoned...
