Conway was approached by The Trust in 2540 and offered a seat on The Board of Chairmen to replace the previous member who had been killed due to recent events in that year. In exchange for his total loyalty, Conway was given total control of the previous member's finacial holdings, empowering Conway to a final total net worth of roughly 89.1 trillion credits. As a result of this Kieth Conway is considered the most wealthy and financially powerful man in Human History. Age: 66 Sex: Male Affiliation: The Trust Weapons: M6G Magnum Personality: Ruthless, unforgiving, cynical, totally disconnected, a repugnant individual all around. Backstory: General Dalton Gates was born in 2489 on Reach. He was born to a long time military family, being a third generation military officer, following in the steps of his father and grandfather. General Dalton Gates had always had an affinity for The Air Force. As such, he had served as a pilot, and a rather brilliant pilot, during the Human-Covenant War. Early in his life when he was a First Lieutenant, at Age 26, during the conflict with The Insurrection, Dalton Gates discovered that his father, General Richard Gates, was, in fact, a spy and sympathizer for The Insurrection. Dalton Gates was faced with a difficult choice concerning his father's fate; he could of ignored it, or he could of acted on this treachery. Dalton Gates decided to act, and he reported his father's actions to UNSC HIGHCOM. Due to his father's high ranking status, HIGHCOM was very worried that any movement on their part would startle Richard Gates and force him into hiding. With this known, HIGHCOM ordered Dalton Gates to assassinate his own father. Dalton gates agreed to the assignment, and eventually, murdered his own father by putting a bullet in the back of his head. This experience destroyed Dalton Gates, and turned him into a very cynical and cold man. After killing his own father, The Trust took notice of Dalton Gates, and recruited him into The Trust, under the guise of working for "ONI". It was not until 2525 that Dalton Gates learned the truth as to the true nature of The Trust. With The Human-Covenant war starting, Dalton Gates decided that he would much rather serve in The Trust, on the condition that he be allowed to serve in the UNSC Air Force as a sleeper agent. The Trust agreed, and Dalton Gates repeated the sins of his own father. [/SHEET] Bruce Payne [SHEET] Name: Bruce Payne Rank: Major Title: Ex-ONI Agent Age: 40 Sex: Male Affiliation: The Trust Weapons: None Personality: Emotionally disconnected, optimistic, cunning, incredibly imaginative and creative. Backstory: Bruce Payne is the youngest and newest member of The Board of Chairmen. He was born on Harvest in 2515, and was among the few civilians that managed to evacute Harvest when it was attacked in 2525. It was at this point that he, and his family, fled to Earth. When Payne turned 18, he enrolled into the UNSC Marine corps as an officer, and studied xeno-linguistics and code breaking. It was Payne's hope that he could become an expert code breaker for the UNSC, allowing the UNSC to intercept and crack Covenant communications. Many times throughout the war, this proved to be the case. Payne became a master code-breaker, and there was almost no Covenant communication that he could not crack. Combined with his utter hatred for non-humans, his desire to kill non-humans, and his master-code breaking skills, Payne was able to known everything about an enemy engagement just based on communications he had intercepted, and was able to make very quick work of any Covenant patrol he ran into. He was quickly noticed by both ONI and The Trust. In 2538, his skills and abilities were noticed and he was offered a position in ONIs Agent division. In 2540 he was recruited by Constantine Spender due to his excellent abilities and exceptional skill with just about every weapon, both Human and Covenant alike. After joining The Trust, Payne began to use his skills to intercept and crack UNSC and ONI transmissions, as well as Covenant transmissions, all of which was done in the service of The Trust. In 2553, Payne was added as a member of The Board of Chairmen due to his loyalty and service to The Trust. Due to his membership on The Board of Chairmen, Payne faked his own death, and ONI reads him as KIA. This was done for security reasons, as Payne could of proven to be a security liability for The Trust. [/SHEET]
