The Dreadhawk

The Dreadhawk is a Marathon Cruiser that was under the command of Fleet Admiral Preston J. Vernette, prior to it's destruction in 2553. The Dreadhawk was a standard variation of the Marathon class, with exception to the added Weapons Research Lab and the Cybernetics Lab, installed at the request of Fleet Admiral Vernette. The Dreadhawk served in several engagements, including the First and Second Battle of Earth. It was destroyed by The Rouge Admiral Korman, when he ordered his ship on a direct collision course with the Dreadhawk. The ship was destroyed with a loss of a limited portion of the crew. Vernette liked the name of this ship, due to the bird naming convention, similarly of the names King Raven and Nighthawk.
