I know how the world will end. I am from the future and I am here to stop it. The question is...should I kill my past self to stop it?

After I destroyed the world...it was so lonely being the only living person. I think it was a mistake to destroy the Earth from my orbital command station. I decided to build a time machine and come back in time to stop myself. April 28th 2014 at 8:19 pm Eastern Time is zero hour. Do you think I should do it? Should I kill my past self to save the future of man kind?
