I don't believe this for several reasons: 1. Playstation 3 has yet to even reach it's full hardware potential. The Cell processor had too much money invested in it to be tossed aside after only a few years for something better. PS3 has a long life ahead of it. 2. While it is possible that Microsoft might unleash a new console, I doubt it. The Xbox 360 has proven to be a very good competitor for the PS3, and with all the recent updates to the 360, such as the Kinect, the new Dashboard, the 360 Slim, and big name titles that have YET to be released on the 360, a new console would be suicide. Making the consumer choose between titles on the 360, and a new console, as not EVERYONE can afford BOTH, would prove to be a requiem bell for the Xbox. 3. Nintendo will defiantly drop a new console at E3...they need to...the Wii sucks. I hope whoever is spreading these rumors ends up in prison.
