He jumped into his Vulture and flew down to the Texas base camp. He stopped about 2 miles out. He opened a comm to Delta. Vernette: Hey Delta...you there? Delta looked up and answered his comm. Before he spoke, he looked around and saw that Max had wandered off. Delta: Yeah...I am here. Vernette: Delta...grab a vehicle and drive north west for about 2 miles. You will find me there. I need to talk to you...alone. Delta shrugged and closed the comm. he grabbed a Warthog and drove out to Vernette's position. Once there, Vernette opened the rear hatch and Delta walked in. Delta: You wanted to see me? Vernette: Delta...Do you remember Courtney? Delta: Yeah...why?
