Formation
Task Force 117 was formed in 2548, when the war was as it's worse for the UNSC. Texas decided to find as many soldiers that were trained and excelled with mid-, to long-range rifles, stealth operations, and sabotage. Jacob, was one of the first he found, due to their close relationship as friends during their time on Reach. He and Jacob gathered the rest of the Task Force over the next few years, most of them close friends to Jacob and Texas, theydecided on the number 117 due to Master Chief. Although, Jacob knew most Spartans were...traitors. Master Chief was Master Chief and many of the members of the unit found him as a beacon of hope.
Known Leaders
Texas
Texas, born in 2505 on Reach was a big part in the formation and stability of Task Force 117. He came up with the whole idea, and gathered many of the members.
