The M90 Shotgun - ONI Variant is a high powered shotgun. It serves as a very powerful counter-infantry weapon at close range. As opposed to the standard M90 Shotgun, the M90 Shotgun - ONI Variant is capable of a more directed blast, increasing the effective range to 20 feet. This weapon is standard issue on all ONI ships as of 2555. ONI marines can be seen using this weapon when deployed in the field.
The weapon sports a very stylish semi-matte black finish, with a slight polish. The weapon itself can break an Elite Major's shields in a single shot at 10 feet. The recoil on this gun does kick a bit, but the stopping power is unmatched for a weapon of this class. It is also mounted with a front end flashlight in case visibility is reduced. The shotgun can house up to 12 shells at a time, allowing for more ammo to easily be carried.
