The M6B Magnum - ONI Variant is a medium powered handgun. It serves as an excellent sidearm and counter-infantry weapon. As opposed to the standard M6B Magnum, the M6B Magnum - ONI Variant is effective up to 300 feet. This weapon is standard issue on all ONI ships as of 2555. ONI marines usually do not carry this weapon but this weapon is very popular with the Section Two Army and Section 3 Peacekeepers. This weapon is easily dual weilded, inspite of the rapid rate of fire.
The weapon sports a very stylish semi-matte black finish on the rubber grips, with a slight navy blue polish on the metal. The weapon itself proves highly effective against armor and kevalr at a range of less then 300 feet. Beyond 300 feet and the weapon becomes too inaccurate to be useful. It is equipped with a laser sight and smart link scope for zooming of up to 2x.
